71st Miss World: Croatia's Lucija Begić wins Sport Challenge

The 71st Miss World Sport Challenge final was held on February 24 at the Mayor Dhyan Chand National Stadium in New Delhi. A total of 32 finalists among 112 contestants battled it out for the gold and for a spot among the Top 40 to be announced during the final show on Saturday, March 9 in Mumbai. They were divided into four team colors — Yellow Team (Africa), Blue Team (Europe), Red Team (Asia), and Green Team (America). The Sport Challenge culminated with Croatia's Lucija Begić emerging as winner while Chile's Ámbar Zenteno and Peru's Lucía Arellano were second and third, respectively. 71st Miss World: Meet Head-to-Head Challenge Top 5 winners

The 71st Miss World Head-to-Head Challenge was held on February 23 at The Summit Room, Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. Five winners have been chosen by the judges based on the Head-to-Head speeches delivered by the contestants. The winners were Botswana (Lesego Chombo), England (Jessica Gagen), Lebanon (Yasmina Zaytoun), Nigeria (Ada Eme), and Zimbabwe (Nokutenda Marumbwa). The President of the Miss Supranational Organization, Gerhard Parzutka von Lipinski, is pleased to announce that the final show of the 15th edition of Miss Supranational will take place on Saturday, July 6 in Nowy Sącz. Alethea Ambrosio, the reigning The Miss Philippines, was officially appointed as Miss Supranational Philippines 2024 on Sunday, February 18 at the Hilton Manila. Aleksandra Modic, a student from Wetzlar, was crowned Miss World Germany 2024 last Saturday, February 10 in Berlin. The 24-year-old will be representing Germany in the upcoming 71st Miss World Festival in India. She is honored to have the opportunity to participate in Miss World and hopes to make a positive impact on the world. "It is a privilege to represent my country and culture on the global stage. I look forward to meeting the other contestants and sharing our stories and visions for a better world," she said.  Aleksandra holds a bachelor's degree in arts and is currently pursuing her master's in international marketing. She is passionate about environmental protection and animal welfare. In her free time, she enjoys playing tennis and spending time with her dog.
