The 71st Miss World is set to conclude on March 9 at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai, marking the end of three weeks filled with exciting activities in Delhi and Mumbai.

Spanning over 100,000 square meters, the Jio World Convention Centre stands as a premier venue for a wide range of events.

Established in March 2022, it plays a vital role in the Jio World Centre, showcasing the very best of India and the world.

The highly anticipated festival will kick off this Tuesday, February 20 with an opening ceremony taking place in New Delhi.

Abbie Stockard from Vestavia Hills, Alabama was crowned Miss America 2025 on Sunday, January 5 at The Walt Disney Theater of the Dr. Phillips Center for Performing Arts in Orlando, Florida. The 22-year-old nursing student and cheerleader at Auburn University beat 51 other contestants to win the national title. She succeeds last year's winner, active duty Air Force officer Madison Marsh of Colorado. Miss America 2024 will be the 96th edition of the Miss America pageant — the nation's leading provider of scholarships for young women. The 51 state representatives have already been crowned and they will compete for the national title on January 14 at the Walt Disney Theater (Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts) in Orlando, Florida. Apart from raising the age limits to between 18 and 28, the 2024 competition under the new CEO Robin Ross-Fleming will also see other changes. Xinying Zhu from Anhui crowned Miss Universe China

China officially crowned two national queens for Miss Universe in one year. Two separate national events were held this year. Xinying Zhu from Anhui province was recently crowned Miss Universe China following an intense one-week competition in Zhangjiajie. The 18-year-old vocational student majoring to become a flight attendant at Suzhou Aviation Vocational College is expected to represent China at Miss Universe 2026. She was crowned by her predecessor, Xue Hou, who won the national title in Sanya last July. Xue will head to the Miss Universe 2025 pageant. The 23-year-old qualified beach lifeguard from Newquay, Cornwall bested 39 other contestants to win the national title.
