Miss Polonia 2020 is Natalia Gryglewska of Częstochowa


A dietetics graduate and model from Częstochowa, Natalia Gryglewska, was crowned Miss Polonia 2020 in a glittering competition held on Monday, March 8 at the Grand Theatre in Łódź.

The 22-year-old beauty who is currently pursuing a master's studies in Warsaw succeeded Miss Polonia 2019 Karolina Bielawska and will now prepare to represent Poland at the 70th Miss World pageant to be held later this year.

Klaudia Wonatowska and Faustyna Wespińska were the first and second runners-up, respectively. Around 20 candidates battled it out for the national crown worth over PLN 50,000.

Miss Polonia is one of the older national pageant in Poland with the first edition held in 1929. Past winners include Ewa Wachowicz, Rozalia Mancewicz, Marcelina Zawadzka, Paulina Krupińska, Izabella Krzan, Agata Biernat and Milena Sadowska.

Poland has won the Miss World crown once courtesy of Aneta Kręglicka in 1989. Its last highest placement was Top 5 in 2004 with Katarzyna Borowicz.

Femina Miss India World 2026: Sadhvi Sail from Goa wins the crown

Sadhvi Sail bested 29 other contestants to win the Femina Miss India 2026 pageant last Saturday, April 18 at the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology in Bhubaneswar. The 24-year-old beauty from Goa state was crowned by her predecesor Nikita Porwal and will represent India at the 74th Miss World competition next year. Rajnandini Pawar of Maharashtra and Sree Advaita of Union Territory were named the first and second runners-up, respectively. Miss Grand Thailand 2026 is Patthama Jitsawat of Chonburi

Patthama Jitsawat, representing the Thai province of Chonburi, was crowned Miss Grand Thailand 2026 on Saturday, March 28 at MGI Hall in Bangkok. The 32-year-old beauty edged out 76 other contestants to win the national competition. She succeeds last year's winner Sarunrat Puagpipat of Phuket. Panasaya Angelica Damaagd of Buriram was names first runner-up while Ilin Nabsuk of Phuket, Natthakitta Kerdkanchiroj of Saraburi, and Naruemol Chaloemroek of Sukhothai were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Luren Márquez was crowned Miss Peru 2026 (Miss Universe Peru) in a special ceremony held on Wednesday, April 15 at the Teatro Municipal del Callao. The 27-year-old television presenter and model received the crown from her predecessor Karla Bacigalupo with the presence of the reigning Miss Universe Fátima Bosch from Mexico. Born in Ica, the new Miss Universe Peru is a business administration graduate from the University of Lima. Victoria DiSorbo was crowned Miss World America 2023 in a national competition held on Thursday, October 5 at the Meydenbauer Center Theatre in Bellevue, Washington. The 25-year-old representing the state of Tennessee will now prepare to compete on behalf of the United States of America at Miss World 2023 in India this December. The 23-year-old teacher by profession from the state of Mérida will represent her country at Miss Grand International 2022 in Indonesia this October.
