Binibining Pilipinas 2021 coronation night postponed again

Binibining Pilipinas 2021 coronation night was put off again due to another surge of COVID-19 cases in the Philippines.

After several postponements, the 57th edition of the national pageant was last scheduled for April 26. It has now been moved to June 27.

"Safety is our priority," Binibining Pilipinas Charities, Incorporated captioned a special announcement on social media.

Miss Hawaii USA 2025 is Issha Rose Mata from Hilo

Issha Rose Mata, representing the town of Hilo, bested 16 other contestants to win Miss Hawaii USA 2025 on Saturday, March 22 at Hawaii Convention Center in Honolulu. The 29-year-old model and digital marketing specialist was crowned by last year's winner and Miss USA 2024 Top 10 finalist Breea Yamat. Mikaela Bega of Maui was named first runner-up while Kristi Van Diver-Kometani of Kakaako, Alexia Locquiao Sommers of Kahala, and Faith Alvior of Valley Isle were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Completing the Top 10 were Ellise Kakazu of Waikiki, Kiri Takanishi of South Shore, Emma Fincher of Orchid Isle, Erica Osterkamp of Manoa, and Kaysha Kahai-Enos of Hawaii Island. Ruth Thomas was crowned Miss Botswana 2025 (Miss World Bostwana) on Saturday, March 22 at The Grand Palm Hotel Casino Convention Resort in Gaborone. The 24-year-old clothing and textile design graduate from the village of Masunga bested nine other finalists to win the national title. She succeeds last year's winner Anicia Gaothusi from Tutume and is expected to represent Botswana at the 73rd Miss World competition. Reigning Miss Belgium Karen Jansen, 23, has been officially announced as Belgium's representative in the upcoming Miss World 2025 competition. The psychology student and freelance model from the province of Limburg was recently crowned Miss Belgium 2025 last month in De Panne. Karen will compete with over 100 contestants from around the world to become the next Miss World this May in Hyderabad, India. Belgium has yet to win the Miss World crown since its first participation in 1969. The country's highest placement was in 1996 when Belgian model Laurence Borremans made the Top 10.
