Miss Grand Costa Rica 2021 is Adriana Moya

Adriana Moya has been officially announced by The Finalists organization on Saturday, May 21 as Miss Grand Costa Rica 2021.

The 26-year-old architect from San Pedro, Montes de Oca, succeeded Gabriela Jara and will represent her country Costa Rica at Miss Grand International 2021 possibly in Bangkok later this year.

No stranger to beauty pageants, Adriana was named first runner-up during the 47th edition of Miss Intercontinental in Manila, Philippines.

"It will be my fourth time representing Costa Rica internationally, but the butterflies still feel the same and the emotion is the same," she wrote on social media.

"I can't wait to live for the last time, together with you, one of my greatest passions," she added.

Miss World 2025 head to head challenge winners announced

The 72nd Miss World festival continues in Telangana, India with the official announcement of the continental winners of this year's head to head challenge. Advancing to the Top 10 in their continental regions were Idil Bilgen of Türkiye, Millie-Mae Adams of Wales, Faith Bwalya of Zambia, and Anna-Lise Nanton of Trinidad and Tobago. The four remarkable contestants impressed the distinguished panel of judges with their eloquence, passion, and the power behind their Beauty With a Purpose projects. Miss Universe Argentina 2025 is Aldana Masset of Entre Rios

Aldana Masset was crowned Miss Universe Argentina 2025 on Sunday, May 25 at Mansión Tango in Buenos Aires. The 25-year-old singer and image consultant from the province of Entre Rios beat 27 other contestants to win the national title. Julieta Ricardez of La Pampa was named first runner-up while Judit Grnja of Chaco, Ayelen Torres of La Rioja, Carolina Danieri of Comunidad Extranjera, and Xiomara Menna of Misiones were the second, third, fourth and fifth runners-up, respectively. The new Miss Universe Argentina will now prepare to represent her country at the Miss Universe 2025 pageant in Thailand this November. Miss Thailand 2025 is Chotnapa Kaewjarun from Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya

Chotnapa Kaewjarun was crowned Miss Thailand 2025 on Sunday, May 25 at MCC Hall, The Mall Ngamwongwan in Nonthaburi. The 25-year-old model representing Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya bested over 40 other contestants to win the beauty title. She succeeds last year's winner Panida Kernjinda of Chiang Mai. Pornchanit Sucharitakul of Pathum Thani and Kirana Youthong of Nonthaburi were named the first and second runners-up, respectively. India's Rachel Gupta loses Miss Grand International title

Rachel Gupta from India made history when she was crowned Miss Grand International 2024 last October in Bangkok, Thailand. She became the first Indian woman to win the beauty title. On Wednesday, May 28, the Miss Grand International organization officially announced her termination as titleholder with immediate effect. According to MGI, the decision was made due to her "failure to fulfill her assigned duties, engagement in external projects without prior approval, and refusal to participate in the scheduled trip to Guatemala." Contrary to MGI's announcement, Rachel also shared her own "decision to step down" and cited "broken promises, mistreatment, and a toxic environment" as her reasons for returning the crown. Opal Suchata Chuangsri was officially proclaimed Miss World Thailand 2025 in a special press presentation held on Tuesday, April 22 in Bangkok. The 22-year-old political science major at Thammasat University will represent Thailand at Miss World 2025 in Hyderabad ( Telangana), India this May. No stranger to pageantry, Opal was previously crowned Miss Universe Thailand and went to Miss Universe 2024 in Mexico where she finished as the third runner-up. Miss Indonesia Monica Kezia Sembiring was officially announced the winner of the talent competition at Miss World 2025. The talented pianist from North Sumatra beat 23 other finalists to win the fast-track event held at Shilpakala Vedika auditorium in Hyderabad, India. Issie Princesse of Cameroon and Chiara Esposito of Italy placed second and third, respectively. Monica's dazzling piano performance earned her a spot in the Top 10 of her continental group, Asia and Oceania. Kaya Chakrabortty bested over 30 other contestants to win Miss Universe Japan 2024 during the national competition held on Thursday, July 25 in Tokyo. The 22-year-old Japanese-Bangladeshi from Kobe City in Hyogo Prefecture will represent Japan at Miss Universe 2024 in Mexico this November. She succeeds last year's winner Rio Miyazaki.
