The Miss Grand International 2021 national costume competition was held on Tuesday, November 30 at the SHOW DC Retail and Entertainment Mega Complex in Bangkok.

Fifty-nine contestants from around the world showcased the colorful and extravagant costumes that best represent their home countries during the show.

Miss Maine USA 2025 is Shelby Howell from Bangor

Shelby Howell, representing Bangor, was crowned Miss Maine USA 2025 during the state final held on Sunday, May 11 in Portland. The 24-year-old real estate agent succeeds last year's winner Anne Baldridge and will now proceed to represent Maine at Miss USA 2025. Mara Carpenter of Cumberland County was named first runner-up while Jordon Hudson of Hancock, Reykha Lindor of Old Town, and Hannah Trottier-Braun of Lewiston were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. No stranger to pageantry, the new Miss Maine USA is a former Miss Multiverse America and the grand winner of Miss CosmoWorld 2023 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Polish-American Emily Reng to represent Poland at Miss Universe 2025

Polish-American Emily Reng was officially announced by the Miss Polonia organization as Miss Universe Poland 2025 on Wednesday, October 22. The 20-year-old will now prepare to represent Poland at the Miss Universe 2025 pageant in Thailand this coming November. Emily is a graduate of John Hersey High School in Arlington Heights, Illinois and is currently a student at the University of South Carolina. The new Miss Universe Poland is no stranger to pageantry. Prior to competing at Miss Polonia 2024 where she finished second runner-up, she won the title of Miss Polish America 2024 in Chicago. Jennifer Barreto of San Sebastián triumphed over 30 other contestants to win Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2026 on Thursday, June 25 in Caguas. The 27-year-old psychologist will represent Puerto Rico at the Miss Universe 2026 pageant to be held in the Caribbean island this November. Génesis Dávila of Arroyo was named first runner-up while Vivianie Díaz-Arroyo of Aguas Buenas, Nicole Marie Colón of Aibonito, and Chelsey García of Añasco were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Chotnapa Kaewjarun was crowned Miss Thailand 2025 on Sunday, May 25 at MCC Hall, The Mall Ngamwongwan in Nonthaburi. The 25-year-old model representing Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya bested over 40 other contestants to win the beauty title. She succeeds last year's winner Panida Kernjinda of Chiang Mai. Pornchanit Sucharitakul of Pathum Thani and Kirana Youthong of Nonthaburi were named the first and second runners-up, respectively. Melissa Bottema was proclaimed the winner of Miss Netherlands 2026 (Miss Universe Netherlands) on Saturday, June 27 at Studio 21 in Hilversum. The 25-year-old social worker, gymnastics coach and model from Groningen was crowned by her predecessor Nathalie Mogbelzada who made the Top 30 at Miss Universe 2025 last November in Bangkok, Thailand. Antea Mršić edged out 14 other contestants to win Miss Universe Croatia 2026 on Monday, May 25 at Esplanade Hotel in Zagreb. The 24-year-old sports management graduate from Zagreb will now prepare to represent Croatia at the Miss Universe 2026 pageant in Puerto Rico this November. Monika Vojvodić was named first runner-up while Laura Vujica, Magdalena Fofić and Beata Šimat were the second, third and fourth runners-up, respectively.
