Miss Grand International 2021 preliminary competition standouts


The Miss Grand International 2021 preliminary competition was held on Thursday, December 2 at SHOW DC Hall in Bangkok, Thailand.

Over 50 women from around the world presented themselves in their choice of evening gowns and MGI swimsuits during the glittering show. Scores from this important preliminary event will help determine the Top 20 semi-finalists in the grand coronation show this Saturday, December 4.

Miss Earth USA 2026 is Gia Soleil Espinoza from Texas

Gia Soleil Espinoza of Texas was crowned Miss Earth USA 2026 in a national competition held on Saturday, January 3 at Rosen Centre in Orlando, Florida. The 20-year-old criminal justice major and third-generation business owner from El Paso succeeds last year's winner Haley Poe. She will represent the USA at Miss Earth 2026 later this year. April Rodriguez of Lone Star State was named Miss Earth USA Air, while Angel Marie Strong of West Coast, Alanna Lynch of West Virginia, and Autumn Fisher of Kentucky were announced Miss Earth USA Water, Fire, and Eco, respectively. For the teen division, talented young model Mia Navarro, also from El Paso, clinched the title of Teen Miss Earth USA 2026. She was crowned by her predecessor Jordyn Campion. Meet the winners of Miss Turkey 2025

The glittering Miss Turkey 2025 national competition was held last December 19 at the Lazzoni Hotel in Istanbul. A total of 20 stunning finalists were chosen to compete for the national titles that were at stake — Miss Turkey World and Miss Turkey Supranational. Sıla Saraydemir, a 22-year-old student, was crowned Miss Turkey World 2025. She is expected to represent Turkey at the 73rd Miss World competition whose date and venue have yet to be announced. The new Miss Turkey World received her crown and sash from former titleholder, Miss Turkey World 1995 Demet Şener. Miss Universe Venezuela 2025 is Clara Vegas of Miranda

Clara Vegas triumphed over 21 other contestants to win the title of Miss Universe Venezuela 2025 on Thursday, December 4 in Caracas. The 23-year-old model and actress from Miranda will represent Venezuela at the Miss Universe 2026 pageant to be held in Puerto Rico. Maria Evangelista Alayon of Amazonas was named first runner-up while Milena Paola Soto of Mérida, Gabriela de la Cruz of Yaracuy, and Gabriela Villegas of Monagas were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Completing the Top 12 were the representatives of  Barinas, Anabelly Ojeda, Bolívar, Yosdanny Navarro, Delta Amacuro, Kelly Maita, Dependencias Federales, Valentina Martínez, Portuguesa, Génesis Mendoza, Sucre, Rosangel Mundaraín, and Táchira, Valeria del Amor. Miss Venezuela World 2025 is Mística Nuñez of Falcón

Mística Nuñez, representing Falcón, was crowned Miss Venezuela World 2025 in a national competition held at the Studio 1 of Venevisión on Wednesday, November 12 in Caracas. The 24-year-old pharmacist and medical student succeeds last year's titleholder Valeria Cannavò and will represent Venezuela at the Miss World 2026 competition. Aside from Mística, two other beauties were crowned in the national pageant. Valeria Di Martino, a 20-year-old medical student representing Zulia, was proclaimed Miss International Venezuela 2025 and will head to Japan next year for the Miss International 2026 pageant. Mister Global 2024 is Daumier Corilla from the Philippines

Daumier Corilla of the Philippines was proclaimed Mister Global 2024 on Sunday, October 6 at MCC Hall of The Mall Lifestore Bangkapi in Bangkok, Thailand. The 28-year-old model, actor, and host bested over 30 other contestants to become the first-ever Filipino winner of the international male pageant. Manuel Romo of Spain and Favour Ogbuokiri of Nigeria were named the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Luiz Mascarenhas of Brazil and Patrick Pho-ngam Forstner of Thailand rounded out the Top 5 finalists. The Miss Bolivia 2025 final competition was held on Saturday, June 28 in Santa Cruz de la Sierra. A total 28 contestants competed for the national titles that were at stake. Four stunning women have been crowned and they will represent Bolivia at the next Miss Universe, Miss World, Miss Grand International, and Reina Hispanoamericana pageants. Miss Grand Venezuela 2025 is Nariman Battikha of Monagas

Nariman Battikha, representing Monagas, beat over 30 other contestants to win Miss Grand Venezuela 2025 on Saturday, August 30 at Wynwood Park, Valencia. The 30-year-old coach, speaker and entrepreneur will represent Venezuela at Miss Grand International 2025 in Thailand this October. She succeeds last year's titleholder Anna Blanco. No stranger to pageantry, Nary represented the state of Portuguesa at Miss Venezuela 2017 and finished in the Top 10. She was also crowned Reina Hispanoamericana 2018 in Bolivia and made the Top 10 at Miss Supranational 2018 in Poland. The new Miss Grand Venezuela was born in Maturin, Monagas to a Syrian family. She holds a bachelor's degree in business economics from the Metropolitan University in Caracas. Miss Venezuela 2024, the 71st Miss Venezuela pageant, was held on Thursday, December 5 at Espacio Caracas. Stephany Abasali, a 24-year-old economics student representing Anzoátegui, bested 22 other contestants to be crowned Miss Universe Venezuela 2024. Karín Aridi of Amazonas was named first runner-up while Vanessa Pérez of Distrito Capital, Sarilé González of Miranda, and Vanessa Peroza of Nueva Esparta were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Miss Universe Portugal 2025 is Camila Vitorino

Former Miss Queen of Portugal Camila Vitorino was crowned Miss Universe Portugal 2025 last Saturday, June 14 in the beautiful and historic city of Elvas. The 26-year-old from São Sebastião, Setúbal made history as the first married woman and mother to become Miss Universe Portugal. Laura Malaquias, Diliana Fernandes, and Ivone Carneiro were announced as the first, second, and third runners-up, respectively. Last year's winner Andreia Correia passed on her crown to her successor at the end of the event. "It is with great honor that I carry this sash on my chest representing all women, all mothers and the Portuguese people.
