Miss Universe 2021 Harnaaz Sandhu spotted in orange Bibhu Mohapatra dress at New York Fashion Week


Reigning Miss Universe Harnaaz Sandhu was spotted taking the New York streets by storm while wearing a stylish ensemble at New York Fashion Week.

The 22-year-old beauty from India donned an orange satin mini dress from the Fall 2021 collection of a New York-based Indian fashion and costume designer Bibhu Mohapatra.

Harnaaz also paired the dress with an Alexandra coat in chocolat from Maison Atia AW22 collection. The coat with a sleek shape and statement shoulders is a mix of faux broadtail and faux fox using sustainably sourced materials, all hand-sewn in NYC.

The ensemble styled by Emma Pritchard was accessorized with earrings by Ben-Amun and completed with sunglasses by Banbé Eyewear, and shoes by Steve Madden.

In an Instagram post, the queen shared her photos with a caption: "Don’t let others tell you what you can’t do. Don't let the limitations of others limit your vision. If you can remove your self-doubt and believe in yourself, you can achieve what you never thought possible."

"Congratulations [Bibhu Mohapatra] for your successful show. Loved every piece of your incredible collection," she added.

Cuba's Juan Carlos Ariosa wins 8th Mister Global competition

Mister Global Cuba Juan Carlos Ariosa beat 38 other competitors to win Mister Global 2022 held on Saturday, February 11 at the Royal Park Rajapruek in Chiang Mai, Thailand. The 28-year-old actor, model, and dental surgeon originally from Matanzas, Cuba succeeded Danh Chieu Linh of Vietnam for the coveted international title. He also bagged the Mister Photogenic award. Shelby Howell, representing Bangor, was crowned Miss Maine USA 2025 during the state final held on Sunday, May 11 in Portland. The 24-year-old real estate agent succeeds last year's winner Anne Baldridge and will now proceed to represent Maine at Miss USA 2025. Jennifer Barreto of San Sebastián triumphed over 30 other contestants to win Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2026 on Thursday, June 25 in Caguas. The 27-year-old psychologist will represent Puerto Rico at the Miss Universe 2026 pageant to be held in the Caribbean island this November. Polish-American Emily Reng was officially announced by the Miss Polonia organization as Miss Universe Poland 2025 on Wednesday, October 22. The 20-year-old will now prepare to represent Poland at the Miss Universe 2025 pageant in Thailand this coming November. Melissa Bottema was proclaimed the winner of Miss Netherlands 2026 (Miss Universe Netherlands) on Saturday, June 27 at Studio 21 in Hilversum.
