Miss South Africa 2022: Get to know the Top 10 finalists

Miss South Africa 2022 will take place on August 13 at Time Square's SunBet Arena in Pretoria.

Ten finalists will compete for the national beauty title and the opportunity to represent South Africa on the global stage (Miss Universe, Miss World, and Miss Supranational).

Reigning Miss South Africa, Lalela Mswane, who represented her country at 70th Miss Universe and recently won Miss Supranational 2022, will crown her successor at the end of the event.

Miss Universe 2021 Harnaaz Sandhu, former Miss Universe Zozibini Tunzi, and former Miss World Rolene Strauss will be part of the selection committee.

Get to know the Top 10 finalists:


Anarzade Omar - 23, from Crown Gardens in Johannesburg, Gauteng. She holds a degree in strategic communication in marketing from the University of Johannesburg and works as a social media manager at a digital marketing agency. In addition, she is a social media content creator and owner of a small online sushi business.

Ayanda Thabethe - 22, from Taylor's Halt in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal. She is a model and dietetics and human nutrition student at the University of KwaZulu-Natal. She aspires to play a role in developing nutrition-related guidelines to combat South Africa’s double burden of malnutrition and obesity.

Itumeleng Parage - 22, from Central Western Jabavu in Soweto, Gauteng. She is a law student at the University of Witwatersrand and considers Michelle Obama as her role model.

Keaoleboga Nkashe - 26, from Itsoseng in the Ngaka Modiri Molema district, North West province. She is a post-graduate student, freelance model and kindergarten teacher who is extremely passionate about the creative arts.

Lebogang Mahlangu - 26, from Soshanguve in Tshwane, Gauteng. She holds a degree in food science from Stellenbosch University and works as a procurement specialist at a multinational FMCG company. In her spare time, she enjoys going to the gym, spa, or sports field.

LuvƩ Meyer - 25, from Brackenfell in Cape Town, Wester Cape. She holds a degree in health science, social services and psychology from the University of South Africa, and works as a full-time model while running a small business as a co-owner. In addition, she aspires to complete her master's in clinical psychology.

Luyanda Zuma - 20, from Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal. She is an international model, entrepreneur and a live performance student at AFDA. For six years, she played hockey for the KZN provincial team.

Ndavi Nokeri - 23, from Tzaneen in Limpopo. She holds a degree in investment management from the University of Pretoria and currently works for an asset management firm in Cape Town.

Pearl Ntshehi - 25, born and raised in Mamelodi, Gauteng but currently a resident of Centurion. She is a candidate attorney who aspires to make an impact on her country's judiciary.

Tamsyn Jack - 25, from Somerset West, Western Cape. She holds a degree in food science from the University of Stellenbosch and is an entrepreneur working with some of her country's leading start-ups and small businesses.
