Miss Universe Thailand 2022 Anna Sueangam-iam meets former Miss Universe Porntip Nakhirunkanok


Miss Universe Thailand 2022 Anna Sueangam-iam has kicked off her media week after winning her national title on Saturday, July 30 at True Icon Hall, Iconsiam in Bangkok.

Accompanied by the Miss Universe Thailand team and runners-up, the 23-year-old beauty had the opportunity to meet with Miss Universe 1988 and Thailand's very own, Porntip Nakhirunkanok, and her family at Mandarin Oriental Bangkok.

The former Miss Universe gave the newly crowned Miss Universe Thailand some helpful advice such as overcoming language barrier and being confident in her quest to win their country's third crown at Miss Universe 2022.

Dubbed "Miss Garbage" Anna, who came from very humble beginnings as a daughter of garbage collectors, has been making headlines for her inspiring life story. She triumphed over hardships in life, finished her studies with honors, and went on to win her country's most coveted national beauty title.

Despite the online bashing she received for her pre-op photos that surfaced recently, Anna expressed her willingness to take whatever criticism to improve herself and be ready to conquer Miss Universe.

Miss Universe Venezuela 2025 is Clara Vegas of Miranda

Clara Vegas triumphed over 21 other contestants to win the title of Miss Universe Venezuela 2025 on Thursday, December 4 in Caracas. The 23-year-old model and actress from Miranda will represent Venezuela at the Miss Universe 2026 pageant to be held in Puerto Rico. Maria Evangelista Alayon of Amazonas was named first runner-up while Milena Paola Soto of Mérida, Gabriela de la Cruz of Yaracuy, and Gabriela Villegas of Monagas were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Mina Sue Choi of Korea bested over 80 other competitors to win Miss Earth 2022 in a glittering competition held on Tuesday, November 29 at Cove Manila, Okada Manila in the Philippines. The 24-year-old communication student succeeded Destiny Wagner of Belize and became her country's first-ever Miss Earth winner. She also bagged three gold medals for the swimsuit, beach wear, and long gown competition, and one bronze for resort wear. Fatima Bosch was crowned Miss Universe Mexico 2025 on Saturday, September 13 at Sala Placido Domingo (Conjunto Santander de Artes Escénicas) in Zapopan, Jalisco. The 24-year-old designer from Teapa, Tabasco triumphed over 30 other contestants to win the coveted national title. She will represent Mexico at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November. Miss Venezuela World 2025 is Mística Nuñez of Falcón

Mística Nuñez, representing Falcón, was crowned Miss Venezuela World 2025 in a national competition held at the Studio 1 of Venevisión on Wednesday, November 12 in Caracas. The 24-year-old pharmacist and medical student succeeds last year's titleholder Valeria Cannavò and will represent Venezuela at the Miss World 2026 competition. Miss Korea 2022 is Lee Seung-hyun

Lee Seung-hyun, a 23-year-old economics student at Korea University was crowned Miss Korea 2022 in a glittering final held on Wednesday, October 26 at the Blue Square in Yongsan-gu, Seoul. Yoo Si-eun, 25, a student of aviation services, and Kim Go-eun, 22, a student of aviation and aeronautical engineering, were in second and third places, respectively. Out of 54 regional winners, only 30 finalists were selected to take part in the 66th edition of the national pageant. This year's winners are expected to represent Korea at Miss Earth 2023 in Vietnam and Miss International 2023 in Japan.
