Mister Mundo Nicaragua 2022 is Hanniel Espinoza
Hanniel Espinoza (right) has won the Mister Mundo Nicaragua 2022 competition which was held last August 13 at the Holiday Inn Convention Center in Managua.
The 26-year-old fashion model from Chontales is expected to represent Nicaragua at the 11th Mr World competition. He also received the title Manhunt Nicaragua 2022 and will compete in the 21st Manhunt International edition in the Philippines this October.
"A great night full of many emotions, but thank God I managed to achieve this goal, I want to thank all the people who supported me since the beginning of this competition," he wrote on social media after winning the national competition.
Hanniel is no stranger to pageantry - he previously held the titles Mister Teen Mesoamerica World 2016 and Men Universe Model Nicaragua 2018.
A total of 10 contestants took part in the third edition of the Mister Mundo Nicaragua pageant. Previous editions were won by José Antonio Vallejos Pérez and Edson Janyny Bonilla Álvarez.
This year's first runner-up, Jeric Vado from Managua, 25, was awarded the title Manhunt Nicaragua 2023 and will go to the 22nd Manhunt International edition.
