Meet the winners of Muž roku 2022


Muž roku 2022 (Man of the Year) was held last August 26 in Náchod, a town in the Hradec Králové Region of the Czech Republic.

Matěj Švec, a 23-year-old football player, fitness trainer, and co-owner of a gym in Český Krumlov, was named Muž roku 2022. He also received the title Mister International Czech Republic 2022 and is expected to represent his country at the Mister International pageant.

The runners-up, software developer Filip Šanda, 28, and barber Leon Vonaký, 20, were awarded the titles Man of the Year Czech Republic and Mister Global Czech Republic 2022, respectively. As titleholders, they are also expected to compete overseas in Man of the Year and Mister Global competitions.

Last year, the winner Lukáš Vyšehrad participated in the Mister Grand International 2021 in Panama City, while the runners-up, Jiří Perout went on to place in the Top 24 at Mister Supranational 2022 in Poland, and Dominik Chabr conquered the Man of the Year 2022 title in Indonesia.

A total of 12 finalists took part in this year's prestigious national final.

The new Muž roku winner received a Škoda Karoq car from Autostyl Trutnov as his main prize plus a holiday trip for two to an exotic destination.

Asia Rose Simpson from Quezon City was crowned Miss World Philippines 2026 during the national final of the pageant held on Tuesday, February 3 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City. The 18-year-old Filipino-American beauty also bagged the Best in Swimsuit, Best in Talent, and Beauty with a Purpose award. She succeeded Miss World 2025 Top 8 finalist and Miss World Asia Krishnah Gravidez from Baguio City. Anne De Mesa from Manila and Gabrielle Fuentes Galapia from Pampanga were named the first and second princesses, respectively. Miss Universe Germany 2022 is Soraya Kohlmann

Soraya Kohlmann was crowned Miss Universe Germany 2022 in a casting event held on Saturday, July 2 at Holiday Inn Hotel Düsseldorf-Neuss. The 24-year-old former Miss Germany (2017) and business owner who hails from Leipzig succeeds last year's titleholder Hannah Seifer. She will now prepare to represent her country at Miss Universe 2022. Mona Schafnitzl and Roxanna Saiedeh were the rest of the Top 3 finalists while Jelena Tontic and Maren Tschinkel completed the Top 5. Meet the winners of Miss Turkey 2025

The glittering Miss Turkey 2025 national competition was held last December 19 at the Lazzoni Hotel in Istanbul. A total of 20 stunning finalists were chosen to compete for the national titles that were at stake — Miss Turkey World and Miss Turkey Supranational. Sıla Saraydemir, a 22-year-old student, was crowned Miss Turkey World 2025. She is expected to represent Turkey at the 73rd Miss World competition whose date and venue have yet to be announced. Russia's Varvara Yakovenko wins Miss Intercontinental 2025

Varvara Yakovenko beat over 50 other contestants to win Miss Intercontinental 2025 on Thursday, January 29 at V Hotel Sahl Hasheesh in Egypt. The 18-year-old model became the fourth woman from Russia to hold the international beauty title. She succeeds last year's winner María Cepero from Puerto Rico. Lorena Suárez Lara from Cuba was named first runner-up while Vanessa Natcha Wenk of Thailand and Faidha Kassim Kivuyo of Tanzania were the second and third runners-up, respectively. Gia Soleil Espinoza of Texas was crowned Miss Earth USA 2026 in a national competition held on Saturday, January 3 at Rosen Centre in Orlando, Florida. The Mister International pageant, a celebrated event in the world of male beauty, was established in 2006 in Singapore by Alan Sim, its original president and founder. After the unfortunate passing of Sim, the pageant relocated its headquarters to Bangkok, Thailand, where it is now guided by the current president, Pradit Pradinunt.
