Miss Earth Colombia 2022 is Andrea Aguilera Arroyave


Former Miss Mundo Colombia, Andrea Aguilera Arroyave has been officially announced as Miss Earth Colombia 2022 on Saturday, September 10 and she will represent her country at Miss Earth 2022 in the Philippines this November.

The 25-year-old beauty from Medellín is a social communicator and journalist who holds a degree in journalism, neurolinguistic programming, and a specialization in early childhood care. She has worked as a TV presenter, professional model, and soprano singer. In her spare time, she enjoys dancing, reading, and meditating.

For her advocacy, she works with Fundación Botellas de Amor (Bottles of Love Foundation), an organization that transforms bottles full of recycled plastic into material for building houses and recreational parks for underprivileged children and their families. She also supports initiatives aiming to reduce chronic malnutrition and promotes development through nutritional treatments and comprehensive support programs.

"We are sure that our 'eco delegate' will be able to comply with the values ​​that characterize our organization, the environmental work that entails being our ambassador, spokesperson, and leader, in addition to representing Colombia the best way internationally," Miss Earth Colombia Organization said in an official statement.

No stranger to pageantry, the newly appointed Miss Earth Colombia was last year crowned Miss Mundo Colombia and went on to compete in the 70th Miss World pageant held in Puerto Rico where she placed in the Top 12.

Colombia has yet to win the Miss Earth pageant. The country's highest placement was in 2016 with Michelle Gómez who finished in the Top 4 and bagged the Miss Earth - Air title.

Miss Michigan USA 2024 is Alma Cooper

Miss Okemos, Alma Cooper was crowned Miss Michigan USA 2024 on Sunday, April 21 at McMorran Entertainment Center in Port Huron, Michigan. The 22-year-old scholar, advocate and US Army officer will now prepare to represent Michigan at Miss USA 2024 in Hollywood, California this August. Alma holds a bachelor of science degree in mathematics from the United States Military Academy at West Point. The second lieutenant officer is also a Knight-Hennessy Scholar, currently pursuing her master's degree in data science at Stanford University in California. The official contestants vying for Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2024 were finally revealed on Thursday, April 18 at the mayor's office in San Juan. This year's competition will have 28 of the island's most beautiful women selected to compete for the coveted national title. R'Bonney Gabriel to host Miss Universe Philippines 2024 final show

The Miss Universe Philippines organization has officially announced former Miss Universe of the USA, R'Bonney Gabriel as host of the upcoming Miss Universe Philippines 2024 coronation night. To recall, R'Bonney was crowned Miss Universe 2022 during the the 71st Miss Universe pageant held at the New Orleans Morial Convention Center in New Orleans in January 2023. The Filipino-American fashion designer became the second Asian-American woman to win the Miss Universe title since Brook Lee (Miss Universe 1997) and so far, the oldest winner at 28 years old, succeeding Andrea Meza of Mexico. Fashion model Sakhile Dube has been officially revealed as one of the contestants vying for Miss Universe Zimbabwe 2024. The 27-year-old fashionista, representing Bulawayo, is currently pursuing fashion design and styling studies at the Milan School of Fashion in Italy. No stranger to pageantry, Sakhile previously held the title of Miss Earth Zimbabwe and represented her country at Miss Earth 2022 in the Philippines. She finished in the Top 8 among 85 contestants. Last year, she was named Miss Supranational Zimbabwe and went on to participate in Miss Supranational 2023 in Poland where she not only placed in the Top 24 but also bagged the continental title of Miss Supranational Africa 2023.
