Miss Grand Angola 2022 is Teresa Sara


Teresa Sara has been officially announced as Miss Grand Angola 2022 on Friday, September 9, and will represent her country at Miss Grand International 2022 in Indonesia this October.

The 25-year-old law graduate received her crown in an intimate ceremony from last year's titleholder Márcia de Menezes, who placed in the Top 20 at Miss Grand International 2021 and bagged the Best in National Costume award.

This year's Miss Grand Angola is a model, jurist, philanthropist, social volunteer, entrepreneur, and business strategist. She represented Zaire at Miss Universe Angola 2022 where she placed in the Top 10 last month.

Teresa is the third Angolan representative at the Thailand-based Miss Grand International pageant.

The newly appointed beauty queen mentioned that one of her focuses is to continue to invest in her career as an entrepreneur so that she can become a successful businesswoman and serve as an inspiration to other women.

“I want to continue working in the field of entrepreneurship and be a successful businesswoman so that I can inspire other women, and I intend to be a lawyer, continue to work with social projects, and one day create an NGO," she said.

Danielle Latimer beat over 30 other contestants to win Miss Universe Great Britain 2025 on Saturday, July 26 at Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in Cardiff, Wales. The 36-year-old entrepreneur, stylist and photographer will represent Great Britain at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November. Fatima Bosch was crowned Miss Universe Mexico 2025 on Saturday, September 13 at Sala Placido Domingo (Conjunto Santander de Artes Escénicas) in Zapopan, Jalisco. The 24-year-old designer from Teapa, Tabasco triumphed over 30 other contestants to win the coveted national title. She will represent Mexico at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November. Miss Universe 2026 host country and venue officially announced

The Miss Universe Organization has officially confirmed that Puerto Rico will be the host country for the Miss Universe 2026 pageant. Puerto Rican politician Jenniffer González Colón also made an announcement in a conference held on Tuesday, September 23 in San Juan. The 75th Miss Universe edition will be held in November 2026 at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico José Miguel Agrelot, the largest indoor entertainment and sports arena in Puerto Rico. Reigning Miss Universe Victoria Kjær Theilvig from Denmark was present at the conference alongside former winners from Puerto Rico — Deborah Carthy-Deu (1985), Dayanara Torres (1993), Denise Quiñones (2001), and Zuleyka Rivera (2006). The 21-year-old artist and painter from Willemstad became the second woman from Curacao to hold the title next to Evalina Van Putten (2011). Former Miss International Queen winner Nguyen Huong Giang has been officially announced on Wednesday, September 25 as Miss Universe Vietnam 2025. The 33-year-old model, singer and actress from Hanoi made history as the first ever transgender woman to represent Vietnam at Miss Universe. Kaori Hashimoto was crowned Miss Universe Japan 2025 in a national competition held on Wednesday, July 16 in Shibuya. The 21-year-old business administration student from Tochigi Prefecture beat over 40 other contestants to win the national title.
