Miss International Norway 2022 is Romée Dahlen


Romée Dahlen has been officially announced as Miss International Norway 2022 and will represent her country at the 60th Miss International pageant in Japan this December.

The 18-year-old medical student from Bjørkelangen was named first runner-up at Miss Norway 2022 which was held last August 13.

"I'm super excited and can't wait to meet the other girls and show you everything I've been preparing for," she wrote on social media after announcing her new title.

Miss International 2022 will be held on December 13 at the Tokyo Dome City Hall. The winner from 2019, Sireethorn Leearamwat of Thailand will crown her successor at the end of the event.

Norway has won the Miss International title twice with Catherine Alexandra Gude in 1988 and Anne Lena Hansen in 1995. The country's last placement was in the Top 15 in 1996.

María Vargas of Jalisco beat over 30 other contestants to win Miss Universe Mexico 2026 on Saturday, August 29 at Tierra Sagrada in Los Cabos, Baja California Sur. The 28-year-old model and businesswoman from Guadalajara will represent Mexico at Miss Universe 2026 in Puerto Rico this November. Mariana Macías of Michoacán finished as first runner-up while Fernanda Abaroa of Guerrero, Génesis Vera of Veracruz, and Ximena Ochoa of Ciudad de México placed second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Jennifer Kraft Zhou was crowned the winner of the Miss Universe Hong Kong 2026 pageant on Friday, September 18 at The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong. Daiana Stefani Pereyra has officially been named the new Miss Universe Argentina 2026 after the crowned titleholder Tamara Rogouski stepped down for personal reasons. The 28-year-old cabin crew competed for La Pampa and earned the first runner-up position at the national pageant in May. The Mister International pageant, a celebrated event in the world of male beauty, was established in 2006 in Singapore by Alan Sim, its original president and founder. Lo Colby of the USA was crowned Miss International Queen 2026 on Saturday, September 19 at the Tiffany's Show Pattaya in Pattaya, Thailand.
