Miss World Nederland 2022: Meet the 12 finalists

Miss World Nederland 2022 (Miss World Netherlands) is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, September 28 at the De Koning Party & Events in Amsterdam.

A total of 12 contestants were chosen to participate in the upcoming final where one winner will be crowned as the Netherlands' representative in the 71st Miss World pageant.

The Top 12 for best national costume at Miss Earth 2023 has been officially announced. Three costumes that received the most votes from each continental group make up the finalists. Online voting was conducted on Miss Earth's official Facebook page following the national costume competition held on Saturday, December 16 at the Van Thanh Flower Village in Dalat, Vietnam. Following the Miss Earth 2023 blue carpet evening gown competition and "Xin Chao" welcome ceremony held last Sunday at the Opera House in Ho Chi Minh City, online voting was conducted on social media for "Best Appearance" from December 4 to December 8. Jan Carrasco was proclaimed Mister Supranational Dominican Republic 2023 on Saturday, April 22 at the Auditorio Patrick N. Hughson in Santo Domingo. The 29-year-old actor and photographer representing Santiago bested 14 other competitors to win the national competition. He succeeded Lewis Echavarria and will now prepare for Mister Supranational 2023 to be held in Poland this July. Alexander Agramonte of Punta Cana was named first runner-up while Luis Angel de la Cruz of Samana, Ledwis Lorenzo Collado of Espaillat, and Jorge Correa of Santo Domingo were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Miss Turkey 2024: Idil Bilgen wins Miss Turkey World 2024

Idil Bilgen was crowned Miss Turkey World 2024 during the Miss Turkey 2024 national final on Wednesday, September 11 at the Lazzoni Hotel in Istanbul. The 24-year-old medical doctor bested 19 other competitors to win the national title. She will prepare to represent Türkiye at the 72nd Miss World whose date and venue have yet to be announced. Cemre Üker clinched the Miss Turkey Supranational 2024 crown and will head to Poland to compete in Miss Supranational 2025 next summer. Aylin Molla, Melissa Öykü Yorulmaz, Candan Şeviktürk rounded out the Top 5 finalists. Eliise Randmaa was crowned Miss World Estonia 2023 in a glittering national competition held on Friday, August 25 at Kadriorg Castle in Tallinn. The 23-year-old software developer and cheerleader from Kirna, Järva County bested nine other contestants to win the national title. She is now expected to represent Estonia at Miss World 2024. Miss World Organization has officially announced the remaining 25 contestants who were chosen by the judges to join the 15 fast track winners back in Puerto Rico this March.
