Miss Zimbabwe Queen 2022 is Charlotte Muziri


Charlotte Muziri was crowned Miss Zimbabwe Queen 2022 on Saturday, September 10 at the Harare International Conference Center (HICC).

The 25-year-old professional model and sustainability advocate bested 11 other finalists to win the inaugural edition of the Miss Zimbabwe Queen pageant.

Gina Dee Mutemeri was named first runner-up while Stacey Hall, Tamia Tanatswa Chawaguta, and Anelisiwe Ndebele were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively.

Miss Queen of Zimbabwe was founded by former queens Tendai Hunda and Hilda Mabu. The winner is expected to represent Zimbabwe at Miss Earth, Miss International, Miss Intercontinental, Miss Model of the World, or Top Model of the World.

"This moment still seems so elusive that I now fail to fathom how it makes me feel. I'm still processing, how amazing God has been towards my life and the journey which led me to this moment," Charlotte wrote in a statement on social media.

"This is a dream come true, I am living an answered prayer," she said.

Giulia Zanoni, representing La Unión, was crowned Miss Universe El Salvador 2025 on Friday, September 26 at Palacio Tecleño in Santa Tecla. The 20-year-old international relations student succeeds last year's winner Florence Gisselle Garcia and will represent El Salvador at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November. Former Miss Queen of Portugal Camila Vitorino was crowned Miss Universe Portugal 2025 last Saturday, June 14 in the beautiful and historic city of Elvas. The 26-year-old from São Sebastião, Setúbal made history as the first married woman and mother to become Miss Universe Portugal. Laura Malaquias, Diliana Fernandes, and Ivone Carneiro were announced as the first, second, and third runners-up, respectively. The 21-year-old business administration student from Tochigi Prefecture beat over 40 other contestants to win the national title. Miss Universe 2025, the 74th Miss Universe competition is set to take place on Friday, November 21 at the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand. Reigning Miss Universe Victoria Kjær Theilvig from Denmark will hand over her crown to her successor at the conclusion of the event. The Miss Universe Organization has officially confirmed that Puerto Rico will be the host country for the Miss Universe 2026 pageant. Puerto Rican politician Jenniffer González Colón also made an announcement in a conference held on Tuesday, September 23 in San Juan. The 75th Miss Universe edition will be held in November 2026 at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico José Miguel Agrelot, the largest indoor entertainment and sports arena in Puerto Rico. Reigning Miss Universe Victoria Kjær Theilvig from Denmark was present at the conference alongside former winners from Puerto Rico — Deborah Carthy-Deu (1985), Dayanara Torres (1993), Denise Quiñones (2001), and Zuleyka Rivera (2006).
