Miss Universe Zimbabwe 2023 is Brooke Bruk-Jackson

Brooke Bruk-Jackson edged out 11 other finalists to be crowned Miss Universe Zimbabwe 2023 on Saturday, September 16 at Harare Hippodrome. The 21-year-old model will now prepare to represent Zimbabwe at Miss Universe 2023 in El Salvador this December. It will be her country's first participation in over two decades. Amanda Mpofu and Nokutenda Marumbwa were the first and second runners-up, respectively. "My heart is full of joy and gratitude. Thank you to each and every one of you for your kind messages and support," shared the new Miss Universe Zimbabwe. "I have gained this crown for our beautiful country, to love and to serve our people, to represent Zimbabwe internationally, and to show the world the uniqueness of Zimbabwe and Zimbabweans." The highly anticipated grand final and coronation will take place on Saturday, September 16 at the Harare Hippodrome. Following rounds of auditions across Zimbabwe, the Top 25 contestants vying for Miss Universe Zimbabwe 2023 have been officially announced. This year's pageant will be the first edition of Miss Universe Zimbabwe under the new national director Tendai Hunda, a former Miss World Zimbabwe and Miss Intercontinental 2015 fourth runner-up. The next Miss Universe Zimbabwe, to be crowned on September 16, will represent the southern African country at Miss Universe 2023 in El Salvador this November. Zimbabwe will return to Miss Universe pageant after 22 years

After a 22-year absence, Zimbabwe, a landlocked country in southern Africa, is expected to return to the Miss Universe pageant in El Salvador later this year. Previously held by the first ever Miss Universe Zimbabwe, Yvette D'Almeida Chakras, the Miss Universe license is now in the hands of Tendai Hunda, a former Miss World Zimbabwe and Miss Intercontinental 2015 fourth runner-up. Joining her as chief of operations and managing director is Zimbabwean television personality and communications consultant, Rumbidzai Takawira. Zimbabwe last joined Miss Universe in the year 2001 with Tsungai Muswerakuenda. Its highest placement was achieved in 2000 when Corinne Crewe finished in the Top 10 from a field of 79 competitors in Nicosia, Cyprus. Miss Supranational Zimbabwe 2023 is Sakhile Dube

Sakhile Dube was announced by The Zimbabwean Queen organization as Miss Supranational Zimbabwe 2023 on its official social media page. The 26-year-old public relations and marketing manager from Harare succeeded last year's titleholder Kimberly Tatenda and will now represent Zimbabwe at Miss Supranational 2023 in Poland this July. No stranger to pageantry, Sakhile was last year named Miss Earth Zimbabwe and went on to place in the Top 8 at the 22nd Miss Earth pageant held in the Philippines — a historic achievement for her beautiful country. Charlotte Muziri was crowned Miss Zimbabwe Queen 2022 on Saturday, September 10 at the Harare International Conference Center (HICC). The 25-year-old professional model and sustainability advocate bested 11 other finalists to win the inaugural edition of the Miss Zimbabwe Queen pageant. Gina Dee Mutemeri was named first runner-up while Stacey Hall, Tamia Tanatswa Chawaguta, and Anelisiwe Ndebele were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Miss Queen of Zimbabwe was founded by former queens Tendai Hunda and Hilda Mabu. The winner is expected to represent Zimbabwe at Miss Earth, Miss International, Miss Intercontinental, Miss Model of the World, or Top Model of the World. The inaugural edition of the Miss Zimbabwe Queen pageant will take place on Saturday, September 10 at the Harare International Conference Center (HICC). Former Miss Zimbabwe Brita Masalethulini will host the big show with Zimbabwean Radio DJ and businessman Tich Mataz while comedienne Madam Boss, fashion stylist Tafadzwa Zimoyo and fashion entrepreneur Hollywood Lee will host the red carpet. Musicians Jah Prayzah, Enzo Ishall, Trevor Dongo, and John Cole will be guest performers.
