FAVORITES: Miss Grand International 2022 Sashing Ceremony

The official sashing ceremony for the contestants of the Miss Grand International 2022 pageant took place on Wednesday, October 5 at The Seminyak Beach Resort & Spa in Bali, Indonesia.

Sixty-six of the 72 confirmed contestants were present at the special event to receive their country sashes from the reigning Miss Grand International Nguyen Thuy Thuc Tien of Vietnam.

Spain wins second Mister Supranational title

Pedro Cordero, a 23-year-old model from Cártama (Málaga), was announced the winner of Mister Supranational 2026 during the pageant's 10th edition, which took place on Saturday, August 1, in Nowy Sącz, Poland. He became the second Spanish representative to claim the international male beauty title, following Iván Álvarez Guedes, who won in 2023. Marcél Roux from South Africa secured the first runner-up position, while Daniel Jiawei Li from China, Ramón Alcántara from the Dominican Republic, and Gabriel Castañeda from Mexico took the second, third, and fourth runner-up spots, respectively. The remaining Top 10 contestants included Danton Miguel from Brazil, Leonardo Leça from Curacao, Christopher Chidubem from Nigeria, Jack Titus from Thailand, and Luay Latif Kalisilira from Zambia. Meet the newly crowned Reina Filipinas 2026 queens

The inaugural edition of the Reina Filipinas beauty pageant was held on Friday, August 7 at the Newport Performing Arts Theater in Pasay City. Palawan's Angelica Lopez, former Miss International Philippines, was crowned Reina Filipinas Grand International 2026 and will represent the Philippines at Miss Miss Grand International 2026 pageant this October. Alexie Caimoso Brooks, former Miss Eco International winner, from Iloilo and Anne Patricia Lorenzo Diaz, former Miss International Queen Philippines, from Manila were both crowned Reina Filipinas MGI All Stars 2026. Susana Medina from Las Palmas beat 16 other contestants to win Miss Universe Spain 2026 on Saturday, July 18 in Puerto de la Cruz, Tenerife. The 27-year-old model and actress will represent Spain at the Miss Universe 2026 pageant in Puerto Rico this November. "Today starts a new phase filled with dreams, challenges and great opportunities. We are sure you will represent Spain with elegance, strength, authenticity and all your heart," the Miss Universe Spain organization shared online. The coronation ball for The Miss Philippines 2026 took place on Sunday, May 10, at the Grand Ballroom in City of Dreams Manila. Hosted by former titleholder and Miss Supranational runner-up Pauline Amelinckx, the glittering event was graced by reigning international queens Miss Cosmo 2025 Yolina Lindquist and Miss Charm 2025 Anna Blanco. Philippines wins second Miss Supranational crown

The 17th Miss Supranational beauty pageant was held on Friday, July 31 at the Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sącz, Poland. Katrina Llegado, a 28-year-old financial management graduate from the Philippines, was crowned Miss Supranational 2026 by her predecessor Eduarda Braum of Brazil. She bested over 60 other contestants to win her country's second Miss Supranational crown after Miss Supranational 2013 Mutya Datul. Eve Gilles of France was named first runner-up while Lara Marina of Brazil, Ndah Eno of Nigeria, and Karolína Gorylová of the Czech Republic were announced the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Miss World Italy 2026 is Mia Zottoli Montanaro from Puglia

Mia Zottoli Montanaro was proclaimed the winner of Miss Mondo Italia 2026 (Miss World Italy) last Sunday, June 14 at the Ecoresort Le Sirenè in Gallipoli. The 21-year-old model and former volleyball player of Argentine descent from Taranto, Puglia was crowned by her predecessor Sofia Viola. Basma Zaid of Basilicata and Azzura Sandrini of Lombardia were announced the first and second runners-up, respectively. Miss Universe Netherlands 2026 is Melissa Bottema from Groningen

Melissa Bottema was proclaimed the winner of Miss Netherlands 2026 (Miss Universe Netherlands) on Saturday, June 27 at Studio 21 in Hilversum. The 25-year-old social worker, gymnastics coach and model from Groningen was crowned by her predecessor Nathalie Mogbelzada who made the Top 30 at Miss Universe 2025 last November in Bangkok, Thailand. The 26-year-old beauty from Fukuoka Prefecture will represent Japan at the Miss Universe 2026 pageant in Puerto Rico this November. Miss Universe Peru 2026 is Luren Márquez

Luren Márquez was crowned Miss Peru 2026 (Miss Universe Peru) in a special ceremony held on Wednesday, April 15 at the Teatro Municipal del Callao. The 27-year-old television presenter and model received the crown from her predecessor Karla Bacigalupo with the presence of the reigning Miss Universe Fátima Bosch from Mexico. Born in Ica, the new Miss Universe Peru is a business administration graduate from the University of Lima. She also obtained her degree in communication from the Florida Internationl University in the USA. No stranger to pageantry, Luren placed first runner-up at the Miss Peru 2024 pageant.
