Miss Intercontinental 2022 kicks off in Sharm El Sheik, Egypt


The 50th edition of Miss Intercontinental has officially kicked off last weekend in Sharm El Sheik, Egypt with the official welcome and sashing ceremony of the contestants from all across continents.

Standouts were Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Crimea, Curacao, Czech Republic, Dominican Republic, Greece, Honduras, Mexico, Peru, Philippines, Poland, Romania, Russia, Thailand, USA, and Vietnam.

Around 70 contestants are vying for one of the world's most coveted international titles. One of them will succeed Cinderella Faye Elle Obeñita from the Philippines, the reigning Miss Intercontinental.

Miss Intercontinental 2022 final will take place on Friday, October 14 at the Meraki Resort in Sharm El Sheik, an Egyptian city located at the southern tip of the Sinai Peninsula and between the coastal strip of the Red Sea and Mount Sinai.
