Miss Grand Philippines pageant officially launched


Miss Grand Philippines, the first national competition exclusively for Miss Grand International after leaving Binibining Pilipinas, was officially launched in a press conference held on Thursday, November 24 at Hilton Manila.

Attending the event were the MGI executives, reigning queen Isabella Menin of Brazil and her court of runners-up from Indonesia, Andina Julie, Venezuela, Luiseth Mater谩n, Czech Republic, Mariana Be膷kov谩, Puerto Rico, Oxana Rivera, Spain, Hirisley Jimenez, Colombia, Priscilla Londo帽o, Cambodia, Pich Votey Saravody, and the Philippines, Roberta Tamondong.

MGI President Nawat Itsaragrisil took the opportunity to apologize to Filipino fans for whatever happened in the past and encouraged them to leave the past behind and move forward together and whatever. He is looking forward to the first winner from the Philippines in the nearest future, someone who possesses the right qualities and is willing to work with the MGI organization.

The new national director, entrepreneur Arnold Vegafria, officially welcomed the new franchise in addition to Miss World, Miss Supranational, Miss Eco International, and Reina Hispanoamericana.

"This has long been a big dream for me to forge a meaningful alliance with one of the most prestigious pageants in the world. We now embark on a new chapter as we proudly claim the official Philippine franchise of Miss Grand International. I will do my best to make our relationship flourish and to support each other's charities and advocacies," he said.

Details for the upcoming Miss Grand Philippines 2023 pageant are yet to be announced.

Miss Universe Argentina 2025 is Aldana Masset of Entre Rios

Aldana Masset was crowned Miss Universe Argentina 2025 on Sunday, May 25 at Mansi贸n Tango in Buenos Aires. The 25-year-old singer and image consultant from the province of Entre Rios beat 27 other contestants to win the national title. Julieta Ricardez of La Pampa was named first runner-up while Judit Grnja of Chaco, Ayelen Torres of La Rioja, Carolina Danieri of Comunidad Extranjera, and Xiomara Menna of Misiones were the second, third, fourth and fifth runners-up, respectively. Miss C么te d'Ivoire 2025 is Fatima Kon茅

Fatima Kon茅 was crowned Miss C么te d'Ivoire 2025 in a national competition held on Saturday, June 28 in Abidjan. The 23-year-old beauty, representing the region on Hambol, edged out 29 other contestants to win the coveted national title. Diane Gouano of N'Zi and Marie-Axelle Gbogou of Folon were named the first and second runners-up, respectively. The Comit茅 Miss Cote d'Ivoire (COMICI) has yet to announce which international pageant the new Miss C么te d'Ivoire will participate in. Polish-American Emily Reng to represent Poland at Miss Universe 2025

Polish-American Emily Reng was officially announced by the Miss Polonia organization as Miss Universe Poland 2025 on Wednesday, October 22. The 20-year-old will now prepare to represent Poland at the Miss Universe 2025 pageant in Thailand this coming November. Emily is a graduate of John Hersey High School in Arlington Heights, Illinois and is currently a student at the University of South Carolina. The new Miss Universe Poland is no stranger to pageantry. Prior to competing at Miss Polonia 2024 where she finished second runner-up, she won the title of Miss Polish America 2024 in Chicago. Miss Universe 2025, the 74th Miss Universe competition is set to take place on Friday, November 21 at the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand. Reigning Miss Universe Victoria Kj忙r Theilvig from Denmark will hand over her crown to her successor at the conclusion of the event. Former Miss Queen of Portugal Camila Vitorino was crowned Miss Universe Portugal 2025 last Saturday, June 14 in the beautiful and historic city of Elvas. The 26-year-old from S茫o Sebasti茫o, Set煤bal made history as the first married woman and mother to become Miss Universe Portugal. Laura Malaquias, Diliana Fernandes, and Ivone Carneiro were announced as the first, second, and third runners-up, respectively. Last year's winner Andreia Correia passed on her crown to her successor at the end of the event. Miss Venezuela World 2025 is M铆stica Nu帽ez of Falc贸n

M铆stica Nu帽ez, representing Falc贸n, was crowned Miss Venezuela World 2025 in a national competition held at the Studio 1 of Venevisi贸n on Wednesday, November 12 in Caracas. The 24-year-old pharmacist and medical student succeeds last year's titleholder Valeria Cannav貌 and will represent Venezuela at the Miss World 2026 competition. Aside from M铆stica, two other beauties were crowned in the national pageant. Miss Universe 2026 host country and venue officially announced

The Miss Universe Organization has officially confirmed that Puerto Rico will be the host country for the Miss Universe 2026 pageant. Puerto Rican politician Jenniffer Gonz谩lez Col贸n also made an announcement in a conference held on Tuesday, September 23 in San Juan. The 75th Miss Universe edition will be held in November 2026 at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico Jos茅 Miguel Agrelot, the largest indoor entertainment and sports arena in Puerto Rico. Reigning Miss Universe Victoria Kj忙r Theilvig from Denmark was present at the conference alongside former winners from Puerto Rico — Deborah Carthy-Deu (1985), Dayanara Torres (1993), Denise Qui帽ones (2001), and Zuleyka Rivera (2006). Karla Bacigalupo was crowned Miss Peru 2025 (Miss Universe Peru 2025) in a national competition held last Sunday, June 15 in the historic city of Cusco. The 33-year-old actress and producer will now prepare to represent Peru at Miss Universe 2025 to be held in Thailand this November. Former Reina Hispanoamerican Maricielo Gamarra was announced as first runner-up while former Top Model of the World Janet Leyva finished as the second runner-up.
