Miss Qazaqstan 2022 is Tomiris Kakimova from Astana


Tomiris Kakimova was named Miss Qazaqstan 2022 (Miss Kazakhstan) in a glittering national competition held on Friday, November 18 at the Palace of the Republic in Almaty. She is expected to represent Kazakhstan at the 71st Miss World pageant.

The 24-year-old beauty from Astana holds a degree in international law from the Eurasian National University and a master's in law from the Kokshetau University. She has also worked as a model participating in various projects of famous designers and photographers, as well as Fashion Week events.

In addition, Tomiris has been passionate about dancing since childhood and has participated in various competitions, winning the grand prize in national dance.

This year's competition which was themed "Reincarnation New Era" was the 26th edition of the Miss Qazaqstan pageant. A total of 23 beauties took part in the final show where Miss Universe Qazaqstan 2022 Diana Tashimbetova and Miss Earth Qazaqstan 2022 Dilnaz Tilaeva were also crowned. They will be competing in Miss Universe 2022 and Miss Earth 2023, respectively.

Tomiris Zair was proclaimed Vice Miss Qazaqstan 2022 while Altyniya Gazizova bagged the Miss People Choice Qazaqstan 2022.

Kazakhstan has yet to win the Miss World pageant and the country's highest placement was Top 5 in 2000 with Margarita Kravtsova.

Miss Universe Paraguay 2026 is Gretha Matiauda

Former Miss Earth Paraguay Gretha Matiauda has recently been appointed as her country's official representative in the Miss Universe 2026 pageant. The 24-year-old beauty from Asunción is an economist, international model and entrepreneur. She succeeds last year's titleholder Yanina Gómez who made the Top 30 at Miss Universe 2025. No stranger to pageantry, Gretha has previously placed fourth runner-up at Miss United Continents 2022 in Ecuador and competed in Miss Earth 2023 in Vietnam. Hanoi's Phan Phuong Oanh is the new Miss World Vietnam

Phan Phuong Oanh was proclaimed the winner of the Miss World Vietnam 2025 pageant held on Sunday, March 29 in Ho Chi Minh City. The 23-year-old international business graduate from Hanoi bested 46 other contestants to clinch the coveted national title. Le Phuong Khanh Nhu and Truong Tam Nhu were named the first and second runners-up, respectively. Vietnam to host the 73rd Miss World competition this summer

Vietnam, the land of the "Ascending Dragon", has been revealed as the official host country of the 73rd Miss World (Miss World 2026) competition. Transgender woman Nguyen Huong Giang to represent Vietnam at Miss Universe 2025

Former Miss International Queen winner Nguyen Huong Giang has been officially announced on Wednesday, September 25 as Miss Universe Vietnam 2025. The 33-year-old model, singer and actress from Hanoi made history as the first ever transgender woman to represent Vietnam at Miss Universe. The Mister International pageant, a celebrated event in the world of male beauty, was established in 2006 in Singapore by Alan Sim, its original president and founder.
