Miss Universe Qazaqstan 2022 is Almaty's Diana Tashimbetova


Diana Tashimbetova was announced as Miss Universe Qazaqstan 2022 (Miss Universe Kazahstan), one of the three title winners of the Miss Qazaqstan 2022 final on Friday, November 18 at the Palace of the Republic in Almaty.

Hailing from Almaty City, the 19-year-old model was crowned alongside Miss Qazaqstan 2022 Tomiris Kakimova from Astana and Miss Earth Qazaqstan 2022 Dilnaz Tilaeva.

"I am overwhelmed with incredible emotions. Thank you everyone for your support, it means a lot to me. With hard work, I won the title of Miss Universe and soon I will represent my native Kazakhstan on the world level," she shared in a statement on social media after winning her title.

"A huge honor for me. I will proudly and with dignity carry that title. I will do my best to meet the expectations of all those who believe in me. It’s just the beginning," she added.

Diana is pursuing architecture studies at university, and enjoys singing, playing the piano, drawing, sports, language learning, skiing, dancing, reading classical literature, and artistic gymnastics. In addition, she manages to work on her own clothing brand Top studio in Almaty and Astana and deals with online sales at large marketplaces.

The new Miss Universe Qazaqstan is expected to represent her country at the Miss Universe pageant. It has yet to be confirmed which edition she will go to but possibly in the upcoming competition in New Orleans this January.

Miss Greater Bridgeport, Shavana Clarke was crowned Miss Connecticut USA 2024 on Sunday, April 14 at Marriott Hartford Windsor Airport in Windsor, Connecticut. The 29-year-old model and mental health advocate will now prepare to represent the state of Connecticut at Miss USA 2024 in California this August. Danika Christopherson, representing The Village, was crowned Miss Oklahoma USA 2024 on Sunday, April 14 at OCCC Performing Arts Center Theater in Oklahoma City Community College. The 23-year-old former Miss Oklahoma Teen USA succeeds last year's winner Liv Walbeck. She will now prepare for the Miss USA 2024 competition to be held in California this summer. Miss Universe Greece 2024 is Christianna Katsieri

Christianna Katsieri has been officially announced as Miss Universe Greece 2024 by the Star & Mr GS Hellas organization. The 22-year-old model has previously held the title Miss GS Hellas 2022 and became Miss Earth Greece 2023. She went on to represent Greece at Miss Earth 2023 in Vietnam last December. Miss Universe Netherlands 2024: Meet the Top 16 finalists

From 60 beauties who participated during the casting day, only 16 will now move on as finalists for Miss Universe Netherlands 2024. The selection event and official announcement of the Top 16 finalists took place on Saturday, April 13 at Studio 21 in Hilversum. Previously held by Monica van Ee of the Miss Nederland organization, the license for Miss Universe Netherlands has been taken over this year by Milou Verhoeks of the Miss Beauty of the Netherlands. Last year's winner under Miss Nederland was Rikkie Valerie KollƩ , the first-ever transgender woman to represent the Netherlands at the Miss Universe pageant. Madeline Bohlman, representing Northwest Arkansas, was crowned Miss Arkansas USA 2024 on Sunday, April 14 at OCCC Performing Arts Center Theater, Oklahoma City Community College. The 22-year-old marketing student at the University of Arkansas will head to California for Miss USA 2024 this August. R'Bonney Gabriel to host Miss Universe Philippines 2024 final show

The Miss Universe Philippines organization has officially announced former Miss Universe of the USA, R'Bonney Gabriel as host of the upcoming Miss Universe Philippines 2024 coronation night. To recall, R'Bonney was crowned Miss Universe 2022 during the the 71st Miss Universe pageant held at the New Orleans Morial Convention Center in New Orleans in January 2023. The Filipino-American fashion designer became the second Asian-American woman to win the Miss Universe title since Brook Lee (Miss Universe 1997) and so far, the oldest winner at 28 years old, succeeding Andrea Meza of Mexico.
