Miss Earth Qazaqstan 2022 is Dilnaz Tilaeva


Dilnaz Tilaeva was crowned Miss Earth Qazaqstan 2022 (Miss Earth Kazakhstan) from a field of 23 competitors during the Miss Qazaqstan 2022 final on Friday, November 18 at the Palace of the Republic in Almaty.

The 19-year-old student from Almaty City is pursuing translation studies at Turan University. Talking about her journey to the national competition, she said, "For me, the Miss Kazakhstan contest is an opportunity to express myself, exchange invaluable experience, and also get pleasant emotions from participation."

"The most important thing for me is to be a part of the competition, but I will try to represent my city and country in a dignified way," she added.

Dilnaz, who has been wanting to be a stewardess, is passionate about psychology books and cycling, loves evening walks after dinner, and is also into sports especially basketball and volleyball, and dancing. She is now expected to represent Kazakhstan at the Miss Earth 2023 pageant in Vietnam.

Kazakhstan has only sent five representatives in the Miss Earth pageant's 22-year history. Its highest and only placement was in 2001 with Margarita Kravtsova who finished in the Top 4 and bagged the title of Miss Earth - Water.
