71st Miss Universe R'Bonney Gabriel to receive special homecoming in Houston, Texas


The 71st Miss Universe R'Bonney Gabriel will have her special homecoming celebration in her hometown of Houston, Texas on Saturday, March 18.

Fans and supporters can get the chance to meet and celebrate with the beauty queen at the Hilton Houston Post Oak at 7 p.m. CST (local time).

The Miss Texas USA organizers made the official announcement on social media late last week.

Don't miss your chance to meet the queen in person. Tickets for the upcoming homecoming event will go on sale starting this Monday, February 27 at Miss Texas USA's official website.

R'Bonney was born in Houston to a Filipino father and an American mother. She grew up in Missouri City and later in Friendswood, with her three older brothers.

Last January 14, she became the ninth Miss USA to win Miss Universe. She was crowned at the New Orleans Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Her success also made history as she became the first ever Filipino-American to win Miss Texas USA, Miss USA, and Miss Universe.

Miss Universe Venezuela 2025 is Clara Vegas of Miranda

Clara Vegas triumphed over 21 other contestants to win the title of Miss Universe Venezuela 2025 on Thursday, December 4 in Caracas. The 23-year-old model and actress from Miranda will represent Venezuela at the Miss Universe 2026 pageant to be held in Puerto Rico. Maria Evangelista Alayon of Amazonas was named first runner-up while Milena Paola Soto of Mérida, Gabriela de la Cruz of Yaracuy, and Gabriela Villegas of Monagas were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Veena Praveenar Singh crowned Miss Universe Thailand 2025

Veena Praveenar Singh bested 76 other contestants to win Miss Universe Thailand 2025 in a spectacular show on Saturday, August 23 at MGI Hall in Bangkok. The 29-year-old beauty representing the province of Saraburi will now prepare to compete in the upcoming Miss Universe 2025 pageant in Thailand this November. Miss Universe Aruba 2024 is Anouk Eman

Anouk Eman bested five other competitors to win Miss Universe Aruba 2024 on Saturday, August 10 at the Aruba Marriott Grand Ballroom. The 32-year-old fashion model and scoliosis awareness advocate will represent Aruba at Miss Universe 2024 in Mexico this November. She succeeds last year's winner Karol Croes. Angélique Angarni-Filopon from Martinique beat 29 other contestants to win Miss France 2025 on Saturday, December 14 at the Futuroscope Arena in Vienne, Nouvelle-Aquitaine. The 34-year-old flight attendant became the oldest winner of the prestigious national pageant. She also made history as the first woman from Martinique to become Miss France. Polish-American Emily Reng was officially announced by the Miss Polonia organization as Miss Universe Poland 2025 on Wednesday, October 22. The 20-year-old will now prepare to represent Poland at the Miss Universe 2025 pageant in Thailand this coming November. Miss Venezuela World 2025 is Mística Nuñez of Falcón

Mística Nuñez, representing Falcón, was crowned Miss Venezuela World 2025 in a national competition held at the Studio 1 of Venevisión on Wednesday, November 12 in Caracas. The 24-year-old pharmacist and medical student succeeds last year's titleholder Valeria Cannavò and will represent Venezuela at the Miss World 2026 competition.
