8th Mister Global contestants arrive in Chiang Mai, Thailand
The contestants vying for Mister Global 2022 started arriving in Chiang Mai, Thailand for the international male beauty competition.
Over 40 inspiring gentlemen from around the world are expected to take part in the 8th Mister Global edition whose final is scheduled for February 11 from 7 p.m. ICT (local time) at the Royal Park Rajapruek.
Mister Global organization also just revealed the format for the forthcoming competition.
According to the announcement, the Top 15 will be chosen based on their appearances with 40 percent of their scores will come from their looks, physique, and performance during the preliminary competition.
Another 40 percent will come from their pre-judging interviews and the last 20 percent from their attitude and participation during the pageant period.
The selection committee will select 13 contestants while two who will round out the Top 15 will come from the winners of the Internet Popularity and Inspiring Gentleman awards.
During the final show, the semifinalists will compete in interviews, swimwear, and evening wear. From the Top 15, they will be narrowed down to the Top 5 finalists who will then answer questions from the judges. Only the Top 3 will move on to the last round where they will have to answer the final question in 30 seconds.
Mister Global 2021 Danh Chieu Linh from Vietnam will relinquish his reign at the end of the event.
