Cuba's Juan Carlos Ariosa wins 8th Mister Global competition


Mister Global Cuba Juan Carlos Ariosa beat 38 other competitors to win Mister Global 2022 held on Saturday, February 11 at the Royal Park Rajapruek in Chiang Mai, Thailand.

The 28-year-old actor, model, and dental surgeon originally from Matanzas, Cuba succeeded Danh Chieu Linh of Vietnam for the coveted international title. He also bagged the Mister Photogenic award.

Oscar Guerrero of Colombia and William Gama of Brazil were named the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Kim Hee Won of Korea and Setthapan Thongsuk of Thailand rounded out the Top 5 finalists.


The rest of the Top 15 were the gentlemen from Chile, India, Mexico, Nigeria, North Cyprus, Peru, Poland, South Africa, Spain, and Vietnam.

Reigning Mister International Manu Franco of the Dominican Republic and Supermodel International Quynh Hoa Bui of Vietnam were special guests and part of the esteemed panel of judges.

Prior to the announcement of winners, Mahasarakham, Thailand was announced as the host city of the 9th Mister Global edition (Mister Global 2023) in November.

Miss Universe Philippines 2026 Top 6 national costumes announced

The spectacular Miss Universe Philippines 2026 national costume competition took place on Thursday, April 16 at the Urdaneta City Cultural and Sports Center in Pangasinan. This year's show, themed Water, was hosted by the reigning Miss Eco Philippines, Gabbi Carballo. The contestants took to the stage, displaying Filipino artistry through their colorful costumes. Following the competition the costumes from Baguio City , Roxie Baeyens, Iloilo Province , Nicklyn Jutay, Negros Occidental , Alexandria Colmenares, Pampanga , Allyson Hetland, Pangasinan , Donna Nuguid, and Tacloban City , Jacqueline Gulrajani were announced the Top 6. Miss Universe Mexico 2025 is Fatima Bosch of Tabasco

Fatima Bosch was crowned Miss Universe Mexico 2025 on Saturday, September 13 at Sala Placido Domingo (Conjunto Santander de Artes Escénicas) in Zapopan, Jalisco. The 24-year-old designer from Teapa, Tabasco triumphed over 30 other contestants to win the coveted national title. She will represent Mexico at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November. Nadia Mejia-Webb crowned Miss Universe Ecuador 2025

Nadia Mejia-Webb, representing Comunidad USA, was crowned Miss Universe Ecuador 2025 in a national competition held on Saturday, July 26 at Palacio de Cristal in Guayaquil. The 29-year-old model and singer will now prepare to represent Ecuador at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November. Daphne Currat of Tungurahua and Christie Termidor of Región Sierra were named the first and second runners-up, respectively. Patthama Jitsawat, representing the Thai province of Chonburi, was crowned Miss Grand Thailand 2026 on Saturday, March 28 at MGI Hall in Bangkok. The 32-year-old beauty edged out 76 other contestants to win the national competition. She succeeds last year's winner Sarunrat Puagpipat of Phuket. Panasaya Angelica Damaagd of Buriram was names first runner-up while Ilin Nabsuk of Phuket, Natthakitta Kerdkanchiroj of Saraburi, and Naruemol Chaloemroek of Sukhothai were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Inna Moll, representing Vitacura, was crowned Miss Universe Chile 2025 in a national competitipn held on Friday, August 1 in Santiago. The 28-year-old model and influencer will now prepare to represent Chile at the Miss Universe 2025 pageant in Thailand this November. Elena Hidalgo was crowned Miss Universe Costa Rica 2024 on Tuesday, September 10 at the Centro Internacional de Convenciones ANDE (CIC ANDE) in San Antonio. The 32-year-old professional model from San José beat 12 other contestants to win the national title. She made history as the first mother to become Miss Universe Costa Rica.
