Former Miss Grand Peru Camila Escribens returns to Miss Peru 2023


Former Miss Grand Peru, Camila Escribens, decided to give pageantry another try by joining Miss Peru 2023 national competition.

The 24-year-old Lima-born fashion model is no stranger to pageantry. After bagging the title of Miss Grand Peru 2019, she went on to participate in the 7th Miss Grand International pageant in Caracas, Venezuela, and finished in the Top 10 among 60 competitors.

She was later on nominated by the Miss Peru Organization as Miss Supranational Peru 2020 and was supposed to take part in the 12th Miss Supranational edition in Poland but withdrew due to health reasons.

At present, the national organization holds the licenses for Miss Universe, Miss International, Miss Grand International, and Miss Supranational pageants.

Camila is currently the ambassador of an American fast fashion retail company Fashion Nova and signed under a US-based modeling agency Elite Model Management Miami.

If she wins this year's Miss Peru, she will have the opportunity to represent her country at Miss Universe 2023 in El Salvador next December.

The Miss Philippines 2026 titleholders officially crowned

The coronation ball for The Miss Philippines 2026 took place on Sunday, May 10, at the Grand Ballroom in City of Dreams Manila. Miss Universe Philippines 2026 Top 6 national costumes announced

The spectacular Miss Universe Philippines 2026 national costume competition took place on Thursday, April 16 at the Urdaneta City Cultural and Sports Center in Pangasinan. This year's show, themed Water, was hosted by the reigning Miss Eco Philippines, Gabbi Carballo. The contestants took to the stage, displaying Filipino artistry through their colorful costumes. Following the competition the costumes from Baguio City , Roxie Baeyens, Iloilo Province , Nicklyn Jutay, Negros Occidental , Alexandria Colmenares, Pampanga , Allyson Hetland, Pangasinan , Donna Nuguid, and Tacloban City , Jacqueline Gulrajani were announced the Top 6. Russia's Varvara Yakovenko wins Miss Intercontinental 2025

Varvara Yakovenko beat over 50 other contestants to win Miss Intercontinental 2025 on Thursday, January 29 at V Hotel Sahl Hasheesh in Egypt. The 18-year-old model became the fourth woman from Russia to hold the international beauty title. She succeeds last year's winner María Cepero from Puerto Rico. Lorena Suárez Lara from Cuba was named first runner-up while Vanessa Natcha Wenk of Thailand and Faidha Kassim Kivuyo of Tanzania were the second and third runners-up, respectively. Miss Universe Peru 2026 is Luren Márquez

Luren Márquez was crowned Miss Peru 2026 (Miss Universe Peru) in a special ceremony held on Wednesday, April 15 at the Teatro Municipal del Callao. The 27-year-old television presenter and model received the crown from her predecessor Karla Bacigalupo with the presence of the reigning Miss Universe Fátima Bosch from Mexico. Miss Grand Thailand 2026 is Patthama Jitsawat of Chonburi

Patthama Jitsawat, representing the Thai province of Chonburi, was crowned Miss Grand Thailand 2026 on Saturday, March 28 at MGI Hall in Bangkok. The 32-year-old beauty edged out 76 other contestants to win the national competition. She succeeds last year's winner Sarunrat Puagpipat of Phuket. Former Miss Earth Paraguay Gretha Matiauda has recently been appointed as her country's official representative in the Miss Universe 2026 pageant.
