Miss Mexico 2023 is Alejandra Díaz De León Soler of San Luis Potosí

Miss San Luis Potosí, Alejandra Díaz De León Soler, was crowned Miss Mexico 2023 (Miss World Mexico 2023) on Saturday, April 15 at Teatro Morelos in Morelia, Mexico.

The 22-year-old model and former Miss Globe holds a degree in language and literature. She succeeded Miss Mexico 2021 Karolina Vidales from Michoacán and will represent her country at the 71st Miss World (Miss World 2023) in India later this year.

Sofía Zamora Macías of Colima was announced as the first runner-up while Karla Rivas of Sinaloa finished as the second runner-up. Emmy Puerto Arteaga of Yucatán and Mónica Carrillo of Nayarit were third and fourth runners-up, respectively.

Rounding out the Top 10 were the representatives of Chiapas, Daniela Nucamendi, Ciudad de México, Miranda Huerta, Morelos, Grecia Miranda, Quintana Roo, Scarlett Leines, and Tabasco, Emmanuelle Guzmán Torre.

The new Miss Mexico founded the organization "Once Upon a Time" which promotes literature by promoting literacy workshops, as well as access to education and artistic recreation spaces for children in marginalized areas of the state.

Alejandra firmly believes a lot can be helped significantly from small actions. She said: "Everything fits quickly. Small is the child and encloses the man; Narrow is the brain and shelters the thought; The eye is not more than a point and spans leagues."
