Miss Grand Nicaragua 2023 is Glennys Medina


Miss Grand Rivas, Glennys Medina was crowned Miss Grand Nicaragua 2023 in a national competition held on Wednesday, May 24 at Holiday Inn Managua.

The 21-year-old diplomacy and international relations graduate from Rivas bested 11 other competitors to win the national title.

Gabriela Saballos Leon, Yolaina Guillen, Lisseth Cardenas Palacios, Keytel Price, Esther Ruiz, and Mayerlin Sanchez were declared as the runners-up.

The new Miss Grand Nicaragua is no stranger to pageantry. In 2021, she also represented her hometown at Miss Universe Nicaragua and finished as first runner-up.

Glennys succeeds last year's titleholder Maycrin Juliette Jáenz and will now prepare for the Miss Grand International 2023 pageant to be held in Vietnam this October.

In a post on social media, the Nicaraguan beauty wrote in Spanish: "You don't know what this means to me. I am the woman who always finishes what she starts, the one who never tires of trying until she does it."

"I want to thank my mother for giving me wings, for teaching me to believe in myself, for keeping my feet firmly planted on the ground, for teaching me to value life," she added.

Spain wins second Mister Supranational title

Pedro Cordero, a 23-year-old model from Cártama (Málaga), was announced the winner of Mister Supranational 2026 during the pageant's 10th edition, which took place on Saturday, August 1, in Nowy Sącz, Poland. He became the second Spanish representative to claim the international male beauty title, following Iván Álvarez Guedes, who won in 2023. Marcél Roux from South Africa secured the first runner-up position, while Daniel Jiawei Li from China, Ramón Alcántara from the Dominican Republic, and Gabriel Castañeda from Mexico took the second, third, and fourth runner-up spots, respectively. The inaugural edition of the Reina Filipinas beauty pageant was held on Friday, August 7 at the Newport Performing Arts Theater in Pasay City. Palawan's Angelica Lopez, former Miss International Philippines, was crowned Reina Filipinas Grand International 2026 and will represent the Philippines at Miss Miss Grand International 2026 pageant this October. Susana Medina from Las Palmas beat 16 other contestants to win Miss Universe Spain 2026 on Saturday, July 18 in Puerto de la Cruz, Tenerife. The 27-year-old model and actress will represent Spain at the Miss Universe 2026 pageant in Puerto Rico this November. The 17th Miss Supranational beauty pageant was held on Friday, July 31 at the Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sącz, Poland. Katrina Llegado, a 28-year-old financial management graduate from the Philippines, was crowned Miss Supranational 2026 by her predecessor Eduarda Braum of Brazil. Vietnam to host the 73rd Miss World competition this summer

Vietnam, the land of the "Ascending Dragon", has been revealed as the official host country of the 73rd Miss World (Miss World 2026) competition.
