Miss Universe Laos 2023: Meet the 15 finalists

Following rounds of auditions, a total of 15 finalists have been selected to compete for the title of Miss Universe Laos 2023.

The selection committee during the audition day on May 7 consisted of former queens Christina Lasimma, Jennie Tonkham, New Souphone, and Malaithip.

Representing 15 provinces from across the country, the finalists will be officially welcomed in a special ceremony this Saturday, May 13 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Vientiane.

Reigning Miss Universe Laos, Payengxa Lor, achieved the historic Top 16 placement at Miss Universe 2022 in New Orleans last January.

The winner of this year's national pageant will represent Laos at Miss Universe 2023 in El Salvador this December.

Miss Grand USA 2025 is Ivana Garcia of Ohio

Miss Grand Ohio Ivana Garcia was crowned Miss Grand USA 2025 in a national competition held last Monday, August 18 in Las Vegas. The 23-year-old model and entrepreneur will represent the USA at Miss Grand International 2025 in Thailand this October. She succeeds last year's winner Cora Griffen. Andrea Valentina Nunez of East Coast was named first runner-up while Rachelle di Stasio of Washington, Christianah Adejokun of Southern States, and Emely Aleman of Tennessee were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Miss USA 2025, the much-awaited 74th Miss USA pageant will be held on Friday, October 24 at the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, Nevada. This year's competition marks the fourth occasion it will take place in Reno after 2019, 2022, and 2023. Also, this will be the first edition under the leadership of the new Chairman, President, and CEO, Thom Brodeur. Miss Venezuela Earth 2025 is Roziel Borges

Roziel Borges was officially crowned Miss Venezuela Earth 2025 in a special ceremony that took place on Globovisión's "La Tizana" show on Tuesday, October 7. The 24-year-old language student, model and community manager born in Maracay, Aragua received the crown from her predecessor Karleys Rojas. No stranger to pageantry, the new Miss Venezuela Earth has previously won two international beauty titles — Miss Tourism Planet 2023 in Greece and Beauty of the World 2024 in China. Roziel will now prepare to represent the "Land of Grace" and home of the majestic Angel Falls at the Miss Earth 2025 pageant in the Philippines this coming November.
