Miss Earth Laos 2024 is Fachalin Chounlamounty

Fachalin Chounlamounty was crowned Miss Earth Laos 2024 in a national competition held on Friday, July 19 at the Lao National Cultural Hall in Vientiane. The 24-year-old beauty from the province of Bolikhamsai bested 15 other contestants to win the national title. She succeeds last year's winner Nuolao Wamenglor. Rounding out the Top 4 finalists were Malisa Komphasouk, Phouttasone Phounvilay, and Manichanh Sounanthavong. The new Miss Earth Laos is no stranger to pageantry, having joined last year's competition where she made the Top 4 and earned the title of Miss Earth Air Laos 2023. Fachalin will now prepare to represent the "Land of a Million Elephants" at the Miss Earth 2024 pageant whose date and venue have yet to be announced. Miss Universe Laos 2024 is Phiranya Thipphomvong

Phiranya Thipphomvong was crowned Miss Universe Laos 2024 in a national competition held on Saturday, June 8 at the Saint Phila Convention Hall in Vientiane. The 28-year-old from the province of Houaphanh bested 17 other contestants to win the national title. She will now prepare to represent Laos at Miss Universe 2024 in Mexico later this year. Phoudthasone Phimmakaisone of Xaisomboun and Soukthida Paseuth of Khammouane were the first and second runners-up, respectively. Last year's winner Phaimany Lathsabanthao from Vientiane crowned her successor at the end of the event. She went to Miss Universe 2023 in El Salvador last November. Laos has yet to win the Miss Universe pageant. Its highest placement was Top 16 during Miss Universe 2022 in New Orleans with Payengxa Lor. Miss Earth Laos 2023 is Noulao Wamenglor

Noulao Wamenglor was crowned Miss Earth Laos 2023 in a national competition held on Thursday, September 28 at Laotel Hotel in Vientiane. The 21-year-old beauty from Xiangkhouang province succeeds last year's titleholder Jintana Khidaphone and will now prepare to represent Laos at Miss Earth 2023 in Vietnam this December. Her court of elemental queens were Somsouda Thepsouvan, Fachalin Chounlamounty, Lothjana Khounnavong, and Oulayphone Soutthavong. They were named Miss Earth Land, Miss Earth Air, Miss Earth Water, and Miss Earth Fire Laos 2023, respectively. The new Miss Earth Laos who attributes her success to her patience and perseverance is no stranger to pageantry, having joined Miss Teen Laos 2022 and placed second runner-up. Miss Universe Laos 2023 is Phaimany Lathsabanthao

Phaimany Lathsabanthao bested 14 other competitors to be crowned Miss Universe Laos 2023 on Sunday, July 23 at the National Convention Hall in Vientiane. The 28-year-old beauty representing Phongsaly is a business administration graduate of the National University of Laos. She will now prepare to represent her country at Miss Universe 2023 to be held in El Salvador. Phiranya Thipphomvong of Houaphanh and Phavina Mounvongsa of Bolikhamxai were the first and second runners-up, respectively. Deth Xaivanhsee of Oudomxay, Budseng Vongchanthum of Vientiane, and Vaniphone Phoumixay of Vientiane Prefecture rounded out the Top 6 finalists. No stranger to pageantry, the new Miss Universe Laos was first runner-up during last year's competition. She also participated in the Miss Laos pageant twice where she was awarded Miss Photogenic in 2018 and placed in the Top 15 in 2021. Following rounds of auditions, a total of 15 finalists have been selected to compete for the title of Miss Universe Laos 2023. The selection committee during the audition day on May 7 consisted of former queens Christina Lasimma, Jennie Tonkham, New Souphone, and Malaithip. Representing 15 provinces from across the country, the finalists will be officially welcomed in a special ceremony this Saturday, May 13 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Vientiane. Laos' Payengxa Lor returns home after historic Miss Universe placement

Miss Universe Laos 2022 Payengxa Lor returned home following her historic achievement during the recently held 71st Miss Universe pageant in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA. The business management student received a warm welcome from her supporters and members of the press when she arrived back in her country on January 19. Her Top 16 placement marked the first time ever Laos entered the semifinals at the Miss Universe competition. Payengxa won the 5th edition of the Miss Universe Laos pageant at the Landmark Mekong Riverside Hotel in Vientiane last October 8 and earned her the opportunity to represent her country at Miss Universe 2022. The 21-year-old was the first Hmong to win the national title and also the first one to achieve Laos' highest placement at Miss Universe since its debut in 2017. Surprisingly, Laos was also the only Southeast Asian country to place in the Top 16 while heavy favorites from the Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam missed out on the semifinal cut. V

Mister Global Laos 2022 is Jacky Phimmachak

Jacky Phimmachak was named Mister Global Laos 2022 in a national competition held on Saturday, November 19 at Indee Studio in Vientiane. The 22-year-old medical student from Savannakhét beat 11 other finalists to win the title. He succeeded last year's winner Pay Souliyamath and will now represent his country at the 8th Mister Global competition in Chiang Mai, Thailand this February. Laiy Tattanakone and  Khek Sevendays were announced as the first and second runners-up, respectively. Miss Earth Laos 2022 is Tato Jitana Khidaphone

Appointed Miss Earth Laos 2022 Tato Jitana Khidaphone was officially crowned in a special ceremony held on Wednesday, October 12 at the Laotel Hotel & Resort in Vientiane. The 23-year-old model and environmental science graduate currently pursuing her master's degree at the National University of Laos will travel to the Philippines for Miss Earth 2022 final this November. Tato is the second woman to represent Laos in the environmental advocacy-driven international pageant which is based in the Philippines. Payengxa Lor was crowned Miss Universe Laos 2022 in a glittering competition held on Saturday, October 8 at the Grand Ballroom of Landmark Mekong Riverside Hotel in Vientiane. The 21-year-old business management student at the Lao-American College bested 19 other finalists to win the national title. She succeeds Tonkham Phonchanheuang and will now prepare to represent Laos at the 71st Miss Universe pageant in New Orleans, Louisiana, the USA this January. Phaimany Lathsabanthao and Lattana Munvilay were announced as the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Soudthida Bounluetai and Souphaphone Houngheuang completed the Top 5 finalists. The new Miss Universe Laos is also an English teacher and a co-founder of the Hmong Women Network, a platform for women empowerment. The finalists of Miss Universe Laos 2022 were officially introduced to the media in an official press conference held on Sunday, September 25 at the Crowne Plaza Vientiane.  Twenty of the most beautiful Laotian women are vying for the national title and one of them will represent Laos at the 71st Miss Universe pageant this January in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA. Miss Grand Laos 2022 is Phoutsavanh Vongkhamxao

Phoutsavanh Vongkhamxao bested 19 other contestants to be crowned Miss Grand Laos 2022 during the national competition held on Saturday, August 27 at the National Assembly Hall in Vientiane. The 25-year-old beauty is a graduate of Kent Institute Australia with a degree in accounting and business management. She is currently working as a finance officer in a bank in her country's capital. Soukanya Soulivong was named first runner-up while Jitta Thiphonephosy, Kittima Khanthaphengxay, and Jindavanh Senthavy were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively.
