Miss Nevada USA 2023 is Josie Stephens


Miss Sun Valley, Josie Stephens, was crowned Miss Nevada USA 2023 on Sunday, June 25 at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino in Las Vegas.

The 27-year-old offshore chemical engineer for Baker Hughes is a graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She bested 16 other contestants to win the state title and will now prepare to represent Nevada at Miss USA 2023.

Arianna Siefert of Valley of Fire was named first runner-up while Alexis Smith of Summerlin, Emily Delgado of Henderson, and Tylar Bester of Battleborn were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively.

Emily Cox of Silver State clinched the title of Miss Nevada Teen USA 2023 and will now proceed to the Miss Teen USA 2023 pageant on a date yet to be announced.

Her runners-up were Sofia Forrest Turner of Paradise, Kalli Mejia of Reno, Alexandra Kouretas of Summerlin, Kiera Heaven of Las Vegas, and Hannah Branca of Henderson.

No stranger to pageantry, the new Miss Nevada USA has been participating in Miss Louisiana USA for years and went so close (first runner-up) to winning the title in three consecutive editions.

"I am going to Miss USA. A dream I have dreamed of for 9 years is finally my reality," Josie shared on social media after winning Sunday's competition.

Last year's winners, Summer Keffeler and Janae McIntosh, crowned their respective successors at the end of the event.

Ukraine's Angelina Usanova crowned Miss Eco International 2024

Angelina Usanova from Ukraine was crowned Miss Eco International 2024 on Sunday, April 28 at the Triumph Luxury Hotel in Cairo, Egypt. The 26-year-old singer-songwriter bested over 40 other contestants to win the international title. She succeeds last year's winner from Vietnam, Nguyen Thanh Ha. Chantal Schmidt of the Philippines was announced first runner-up while Nikita Dani of Canada, Fabiane Alcarde Goia of Brazil, and Valerie Avril of Indonesia were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. This year's event marked the 9th edition of the Miss Eco International pageant. It was also the first time for Ukraine to win the competition. Miss Delaware USA 2024 is Alysa Bainbridge

Miss Newark, Alysa Bainbridge, was crowned Miss Delaware USA 2024 during the state final on Sunday, April 28 at Laird Performing Arts Center in Wilmington. The 25-year-old public speaker, host, and mental health advocate will now prepare to represent Delaware at Miss USA 2024 in Hollywood, California this summer. She succeeds last year's winner Noa Mills. No stranger to pageantry, Alysa was the winner of Miss Pennsylvania's Outstanding Teen 2016. In 2022, she became Miss Pennsylvania and went to Miss America 2023 in Connecticut last December. The new Miss Delaware USA was born and raised in Berks County, Pennsylvania. She holds a bachelor's degree in communication studies from Saint Joseph's University and a master's in leadership from Cabrini University. Alysa is an adovocate for mental health and recovery. Miss Universe Germany 2024 is Pia Theissen

Pia Theissen was crowned Miss Universe Germany 2024 on Sunday, April 28 at Living Hotel de Medici in Düsseldorf. The 25-year-old social worker, occupational therapist and yoga teacher from Cologne will now prepare to represent Germany at Miss Universe 2024 in Mexico later this year. Annabelle Keller and Ilke Filiz were the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Angelina Matic, Jennifer Monreal, and Tatjana Genrich rounded out the Top 6 finalists. Miss Universe Netherlands' national director Milou Verhoeks, reigning Miss Denmark Nikoline Uhrenholt Hansen, and former Miss Universe Germany Soraya Kohlmann were among the judges. The new Miss Universe Germany succeeds last year's winner  Helena Bleicher , who participated in Miss Universe 2023 last November in El Salvador. Peru's Luciana Vasquez crowned Teen Universe 2024

Luciana Vasquez from Peru was crowned Teen Universe 2024 on Sunday, April 28 in a glittering competition held in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. The 18-year-old fashion model and student from Iquitos, a city in the region of Loreto, succeeds last year's winner from Mexico,  Mariana García . Valentina Colmenares of Venezuela was the first runner-up while Maria Eugênia Raposo of Brazil, Ana Paredes of Spain, and Ziari Ruiz of Nicaragua were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Jeymi Escobedo was crowned Miss World Guatemala 2024 during the glittering Miss Guatemala 2024 final on Wednesday, May 1 at Teatro Dick Smith in Guatemala City. The 18-year-old, representing the department of Suchitepéquez, succeeds  Marcela Miranda and will now prepare to represent Guatemala at the 72nd Miss World. Miss Universe 2023 Sheynnis Palacios arrives in the Philippines

From Bangkok, Thailand, the reigning Miss Universe Sheynnis Palacios of Nicaragua continues her Asia Tour in the Philippines. Wearing a fuchsia one-shoulder dress, the beauty queen arrived on Wednesday, May 1 at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 1 via Philippine Airlines. This is Sheynnis' first official visit to the Philippines since she was crowned the 72nd Miss Universe (Miss Universe 2023) last November in El Salvador.
