Miss Kansas USA 2023 is Haley Berger


Haley Berger, representing Lawrence, was crowned Miss Kansas USA 2023 on Sunday, June 18 at Polsky Theatre in the Midwest Trust Center, Overland Park.

The 22-year-old pharmacy student at the University of Kansas will now prepare to represent Kansas at Miss USA 2023 in Reno, Nevada on a date yet to be announced.

Darby Davis of Kansas City and Megan Reinhart of Wichita were declared the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Natalie Hotz of Topeka, Jaelynne Seirer of Russell County, and Aryssa Joel of Prairie Village rounded out the Top 6 finalists.

"I want to extend my deepest appreciation to the sponsors and the pageant organization for providing this platform, allowing us to showcase our intelligence, and inner beauty," the new Miss Kansas USA shared on social media after winning her first pageant ever.

"I have been inspired by the incredible women I have met throughout this competition. We have bonded, supported one another, and shattered stereotypes together. It is a testament to the strength and unity of women," she added.

Another winner during Sunday's glittering event was 18-year-old Shawnee representative Riley Steinman who clinched the Miss Kansas Teen USA 2023 title. She will now proceed to compete in Miss Teen USA 2023.

Last year's winners, Elyse Noe (Miss USA 2022 Top 12 finalist) and Gracie Hendrickson (Miss Teen USA 2022 Top 16 semifinalist) crowned their respective successors at the culmination of this year's state pageant.

The Miss Republica Dominicana 2024 (Miss Universe Dominican Republic 2024) final will be held this Sunday, May 5 at Centro de Convenciones Sambil in Santo Domingo. Miss Hawaii USA 2023 is Savannah Gankiewicz

Miss Wailea Savannah Gankiewicz was crowned Miss Hawaii USA 2023 in a state competition held on Sunday, January 15 at the Hawaii Convention Center in Honolulu. The 27-year-old model of Filipino, Vietnamese and Polish descent from Maui was also awarded Miss Photogenic. She will now represent Hawaii at the Miss USA 2023 pageant in Reno, Nevada later this year. Kawena Kan-Hai, Breea Yamat, Mikayla Baptista, and Ronelle Valera were announced as the first, second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Last year's titleholder who competed in Miss USA 2022 last October, Kiana Yamat, passed the crown to her successor at the end of the event. Another winner proclaimed at the same venue was Miss Hawaii Teen USA 2023 Noelani DeNisi. She was crowned by her predecessor Malulani Paiste and will be heading to the Miss Teen USA 2023 pageant. Peru's Luciana Vasquez crowned Teen Universe 2024

Luciana Vasquez from Peru was crowned Teen Universe 2024 on Sunday, April 28 in a glittering competition held in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. The 18-year-old fashion model and student from Iquitos, a city in the region of Loreto, succeeds last year's winner from Mexico,  Mariana García . Valentina Colmenares of Venezuela was the first runner-up while Maria Eugênia Raposo of Brazil, Ana Paredes of Spain, and Ziari Ruiz of Nicaragua were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Jeymi Escobedo was crowned Miss World Guatemala 2024 during the glittering Miss Guatemala 2024 final on Wednesday, May 1 at Teatro Dick Smith in Guatemala City. The 18-year-old, representing the department of Suchitepéquez, succeeds  Marcela Miranda and will now prepare to represent Guatemala at the 72nd Miss World. Celinee Santos Frias was crowned Miss Universe Dominican Republic 2024 during the Miss Republica Dominicana 2024 final competition held on Sunday, May 5 at Centro de Convenciones Sambil in Santo Domingo. The 24-year-old model and actress, representing Distrito Nacional, will now represent the Dominican Republic at the Miss Universe 2024 pageant in Mexico later this year.
