Miss Universe Angola 2023 is Ana Coimbra


Miss Angola Diáspora, Ana Bárbara Da Silva Coimbra, was crowned Miss Angola Universo 2023 (Miss Universe Angola 2023) on Saturday, July 22 at the Hotel de Convenções de Talatona - HCTA in Luanda.

The 23-year-old model and project manager who holds a bachelor's degree in economics will now prepare to represent Angola at the 72nd Miss Universe (Miss Universe 2023) in El Salvador.

Tatiana Manuel of Bengo and Eliane Cavelho of Namibe were the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Fernanda Trombeta of Cunene and Jumara Sebastião of Huambo were the rest of the Top 5 finalists.

Completing the Top 10 semifinalists were Daniela Soares of Benguela, Andreia Muhito of Bié, Jessica Luís of Huíla, Maura Cango of Luanda, and Elmira Pascoal of Uíge.

The new Miss Universe Angola succeeds last year's winner Swelia da Silva Antonio.

Agathe Cauet to represent France at the 72nd Miss World

Former Miss Nord-Pas-de-Calais and Miss France 2023 first runner-up Agathe Cauet was announced on Monday, March 10 as Miss World France 2025. The 26-year-old former nurse was first runner-up to Miss France 2023 Indira Ampiot of Guadeloupe at the national pageant in Châteauroux. Agathe will now prepare to represent France at the 72nd Miss World this May in India. She succeeds Clémence Botino who went to the 71st Miss World, also in India, and placed in the Top 40 among 112 contestants. Miss Global 2025 is Nguyen Dinh Nhu Van of Vietnam

Nguyen Dinh Nhu Van from Vietnam was crowned Miss Global 2025 on Sunday, March 9 at the MCC Hall, The Mall Lifestore Ngamwongwan in Nonthaburi, Thailand. The 33-year-old model hailing from Lam Dong province bested over 60 other contestants to become the first Vietnamese representative to win the international beauty title. Keri-Ann Greenwood of Jamaica was named first runner-up while Ediris Rivera of Puerto Rico, Lindsay Lauren Becker of the USA, and Xena Ramos of the Philippines were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Miss Southern Plains, Diane Westhoven was crowned Miss Alabama USA 2024 during the state final on Saturday, June 1 at Auburn University's Jay and Susie Gogue Performing Arts Center. The 21-year-old student from Birmingham will now prepare to represent Alabama at Miss USA 2024 this summer in Hollywood, California. The Miss Universe Organization unveiled the ultimate destination for the 74th Miss Universe pageant at a press conference in New York City. Miss America 2024 will be the 96th edition of the Miss America pageant — the nation's leading provider of scholarships for young women. The 51 state representatives have already been crowned and they will compete for the national title on January 14 at the Walt Disney Theater (Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts) in Orlando, Florida. Apart from raising the age limits to between 18 and 28, the 2024 competition under the new CEO Robin Ross-Fleming will also see other changes.
