Queen of South East Nigeria 2023 is Tiana Michaels


Tiana Michaels was crowned Queen of South East Nigeria 2023 in a glittering event held on Saturday, July 15 at Gardenia Hotel in Independence Layout, Enugu.

The 23-year-old entrepreneur, event planner and coordinator bested 12 other competitors to win the title. She succeeds Queen of South East Nigeria 2021 Achalla Amarachukwu.

Benita Chisom and Blessing Emmanuel were named the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Jennifer Odo Ifeoma clinched the Queen of South East Ambassador title.

This year's competition themed "The New Revelation" marked the 6th edition of the prestigious regional pageant.

Aslihan Morali crowned Miss Universe Canada 2026

Aslihan Morali, from Ancaster, Ontario, was crowned Miss Universe Canada 2026 on Saturday, August 8 at the Chrysler Theatre in Windsor. The Turkish-Canadian advocate, entrepreneur, model and actor succeeds last year's winner Jaime VandenBerg and will represent Canada at the Miss Universe 2025 pageant in Puerto Rico this November. Meet the newly crowned Reina Filipinas 2026 queens

The inaugural edition of the Reina Filipinas beauty pageant was held on Friday, August 7 at the Newport Performing Arts Theater in Pasay City. Palawan's Angelica Lopez, former Miss International Philippines, was crowned Reina Filipinas Grand International 2026 and will represent the Philippines at Miss Miss Grand International 2026 pageant this October. Susana Medina from Las Palmas beat 16 other contestants to win Miss Universe Spain 2026 on Saturday, July 18 in Puerto de la Cruz, Tenerife. The 27-year-old model and actress will represent Spain at the Miss Universe 2026 pageant in Puerto Rico this November. The 21-year-old model and former volleyball player of Argentine descent from Taranto, Puglia was crowned by her predecessor Sofia Viola. Miss Universe Netherlands 2026 is Melissa Bottema from Groningen

Melissa Bottema was proclaimed the winner of Miss Netherlands 2026 (Miss Universe Netherlands) on Saturday, June 27 at Studio 21 in Hilversum. The 25-year-old social worker, gymnastics coach and model from Groningen was crowned by her predecessor Nathalie Mogbelzada who made the Top 30 at Miss Universe 2025 last November in Bangkok, Thailand. The 26-year-old beauty from Fukuoka Prefecture will represent Japan at the Miss Universe 2026 pageant in Puerto Rico this November. Philippines wins second Miss Supranational crown

The 17th Miss Supranational beauty pageant was held on Friday, July 31 at the Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sącz, Poland. Katrina Llegado, a 28-year-old financial management graduate from the Philippines, was crowned Miss Supranational 2026 by her predecessor Eduarda Braum of Brazil. She bested over 60 other contestants to win her country's second Miss Supranational crown after Miss Supranational 2013 Mutya Datul. Gwendoline Soriano of Baguio City was crowned Binibining Pilipinas International 2026 and will represent the Philippines at Miss International 2027 in Japan.
