Nicole Spiteri was crowned Miss World Malta 2024 during the national competition held on Wednesday, July 3 in Fort St. Elmo, Valletta. The 21-year-old beauty bested 24 other contestants to win the national title. She succeeds Martine Cutajar and is now expected to represent Malta at the 72nd Miss World. "Words cannot express what this moment means to me. I did not always believe in myself but through hard work and perseverance I am here today," said the new Miss World Malta. Nicole entered the pageant because of Beauty With A Purpose. She had previously volunteered at domestic violence shelters, worked with children and individuals with special needs, and gained insight into the challenges her community encounters. Natalia Galea has been named Miss World Malta 2022 in a national competition held on Wednesday, June 8 in Fort St. Elmo. The 22-year-old lawyer, model, and actress from Santa Venera succeeds last year's titleholder Naomi Dingli. She will represent Malta at the 71st Miss World pageant. Amy Spiteri and Pearl Maria Micallef were the first and second runners-up, respectively. A total of 27 contestants participated in the 25th edition of the Miss World Malta pageant.
