Miss Universe Australia unveils new crown inspired by Banksia tree leaves

Miss Universe Australia 2023 will be wearing a brand new crown inspired by the enchanting Banksia tree leaves.

Designed and crafted by Stelios Jewellers in Perth, the exquisite masterpiece is an ode to Australia's incredible wildlife, flora and fauna.

Banksia is an iconic Australian native evergreen tree or shrub named after English naturalist and botanist Sir Joseph Banks, who first recorded its discovery in the 18th century.

The new crown is adorned with natural Australian blue, green, and yellow sapphires, meticulously crafted in yellow and white gold. It is a symbol of beauty, strength, and diversity and a fusion of nature and luxury like never before.

A total of 24 finalists will battle it out to become the next Miss Universe Australia during the national final competition this Friday, September 1 in Melbourne.

The winner will represent Australia at Miss Universe 2023 in El Salvador this November.
