Miss Universe Myanmar 2023 is Amara Bo


Amara Bo was crowned Miss Universe Myanmar 2023 in the national competition held on Thursday, September 14 at the Novotel Yangon Max Hotel.

The 26-year-old model representing Kengtung beat over 30 other competitors to win the title on her second try. She was in the Top 10 during last year's edition.

Dee of Mawlamyine was named first runner-up while Khaymar Budathoki of Bhamo, Nang Nandar Linn of Tachileik, No No May of Pathein, and Thin Sandar Pyae Thiha Aung of Pyin Oo Lwin were the second, third, fourth, and fifth runners-up, respectively.

The new Miss Universe Myanmar succeeds last year's winner Zar Li Moe and will now prepare to represent the "Land of the Golden Pagodas" at Miss Universe 2023 in El Salvador this November.

Mike van Wijk to represent the Netherlands at 7th Mister Global in Thailand

Mike van Wijk has been named the new Mister Global Netherlands and will represent his country at the 7th Mister Global pageant in Thailand next month. The 22-year-old entrepreneur from Sint-Michielsgestel currently works in construction and plans to open his own personal trainer studio in the future. He was a runner-up in Misters of the Netherlands 2021 and was originally supposed to join 21th edition of Manhunt International. Mister Global pageant will be hosting its 7th edition on March 15 in Mahasarakham, Thailand. More than 30 inspiring gentlemen from around the world are expected to compete for the coveted international title. Miss Universe Zimbabwe 2023 is Brooke Bruk-Jackson

Brooke Bruk-Jackson edged out 11 other finalists to be crowned Miss Universe Zimbabwe 2023 on Saturday, September 16 at Harare Hippodrome. The 21-year-old model will now prepare to represent Zimbabwe at Miss Universe 2023 in El Salvador this December. It will be her country's first participation in over two decades. Amanda Mpofu and Nokutenda Marumbwa were the first and second runners-up, respectively. "My heart is full of joy and gratitude. Thank you to each and every one of you for your kind messages and support," shared the new Miss Universe Zimbabwe. Miss Grand Thailand 2026 is Patthama Jitsawat of Chonburi

Patthama Jitsawat, representing the Thai province of Chonburi, was crowned Miss Grand Thailand 2026 on Saturday, March 28 at MGI Hall in Bangkok. The 32-year-old beauty edged out 76 other contestants to win the national competition. She succeeds last year's winner Sarunrat Puagpipat of Phuket. Sadhvi Sail bested 29 other contestants to win the Femina Miss India 2026 pageant last Saturday, April 18 at the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology in Bhubaneswar. The 24-year-old beauty from Goa state was crowned by her predecesor Nikita Porwal and will represent India at the 74th Miss World competition next year. Sigríður Ósk Hrafnkelsdóttir, also known as Sigga Ózk, was crowned Ungfrú Ísland 2026 (Miss Iceland 2026) on Wednesday, April 22 at at Gamla Bíó in Reykjavík. The singer-songwriter from Garðabær will now prepare to represent Iceland at the Miss Universe 2026 pageant to be held in Puerto Rico this November. Luren Márquez was crowned Miss Peru 2026 (Miss Universe Peru) in a special ceremony held on Wednesday, April 15 at the Teatro Municipal del Callao. The 27-year-old television presenter and model received the crown from her predecessor Karla Bacigalupo with the presence of the reigning Miss Universe Fátima Bosch from Mexico. Born in Ica, the new Miss Universe Peru is a business administration graduate from the University of Lima.
