Miss Universe Myanmar 2023 is Amara Bo


Amara Bo was crowned Miss Universe Myanmar 2023 in the national competition held on Thursday, September 14 at the Novotel Yangon Max Hotel.

The 26-year-old model representing Kengtung beat over 30 other competitors to win the title on her second try. She was in the Top 10 during last year's edition.

Dee of Mawlamyine was named first runner-up while Khaymar Budathoki of Bhamo, Nang Nandar Linn of Tachileik, No No May of Pathein, and Thin Sandar Pyae Thiha Aung of Pyin Oo Lwin were the second, third, fourth, and fifth runners-up, respectively.

The new Miss Universe Myanmar succeeds last year's winner Zar Li Moe and will now prepare to represent the "Land of the Golden Pagodas" at Miss Universe 2023 in El Salvador this November.
