Miss Universe Egypt 2023: Meet the contestants


A total of five equally beautiful finalists have been officially announced vying for the coveted Miss Universe Egypt 2023.

They will battle it out to win the title during the national final scheduled this month and one of them will have the opportunity to represent Egypt at Miss Universe 2023 in El Salvador this November.

The iconic and historic Pyramids of Giza served as the backdrop of the finalists' "Rise of the Eternal Queen" official photoshoot.

This year's pageant will be the first edition under Dubai-based company Yugen Group, the same license holder for Miss Universe Bahrain and Miss Universe Pakistan.

The selection committee consists of Egyptian actress Mai Omar, Country Manager of Smile Train Dubai Afaf Meky, Vice President, Community and Ambassador Development of Smile Train Troy Reinhart, founder and CEO of Pearland Jewelry Hanan Alelwany, pharmaceutical heiress and philanthropist Sameera Shah, entrepreneur Genevieve Yap, celebrity dental doctor Jonas John Apostol, entrepreneur Sabrina Co, multimedia creative director Ahmed Elnekhaily, Chief Community Officer and Co-founder of Kumu James Rumohr, and Filipino actress Arci Muñoz.
