Carys Havard was crowned Miss Earth Wales 2023 in a glittering competition held on Sunday, October 8 at the Miskin Manor in Pontyclun, Wales.

The 20-year-old beauty is a medical student at Keele University and a former Miss Wales contestant from Crickhowell. She succeeds last year's titleholder Shereen Brogan and will now prepare to represent Wales at Miss Earth 2023 in Vietnam this December.
