Miss Togo 2023 Chimène Moladja to compete in Miss World 2023

Togo, a West African nation on the Gulf of Guinea, is set to debut at Miss World 2023 later this year


Miss Togo 2023 Chimène Moladja officially announced on Monday, October 16 her upcoming participation in the Miss World 2023 competition.

In a statement on social media, the 24-year-old who now holds the title Miss World Togo 2023 shared: "I consider this opportunity to be so much more than just a beauty contest. This is a platform that will allow me to carry a message close to my heart, a message of hope, unity, and change."

"My goal in participating in Miss World 2023 is to raise awareness worldwide on issues affecting our society, such as education, women empowerment, environmental protection, and the fight against inequality," she added.

"As a young Togolese woman, I am convinced that we all have a role to play in building a better world. Together, we can break down barriers, promote equal opportunities, and encourage solidarity between peoples."

Chimène was crowned Miss Togo in December last year and will now be the first-ever representative of her country at Miss World. She hails from Lomé and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree. Currently, she is pursuing her master's in international trade, transit, and consignments.

Her ambition is to become an international businesswoman or a film actress. She enjoys sports, climbing, and traditional dancing, and considers herself wise, intelligent, and an ambitious woman who is polite, sociable, and passionate about working.

Miss World 2023 is set to be held on December 16 in New Delhi, India. Reigning Miss World  Karolina Bielawska of Poland will crown her successor at the end of the event.

Czech Republic's Isabella Rossini wins Miss Aura International 2026

Isabella Rossini, 20, from Czech Republic, was crowned Miss Aura International 2026 at the conclusion of the pageant on Friday, May 22 at FashionTV Luxe Resort in Antalya, Turkey. The professional model, singer and theater actress bested over 40 other contestants to win the international title. She succeeds Krishan Pauline Alerre of the Philippines. Russia's Varvara Yakovenko wins Miss Intercontinental 2025

Varvara Yakovenko beat over 50 other contestants to win Miss Intercontinental 2025 on Thursday, January 29 at V Hotel Sahl Hasheesh in Egypt. The 18-year-old model became the fourth woman from Russia to hold the international beauty title. She succeeds last year's winner María Cepero from Puerto Rico. Luren Márquez was crowned Miss Peru 2026 (Miss Universe Peru) in a special ceremony held on Wednesday, April 15 at the Teatro Municipal del Callao. The 27-year-old television presenter and model received the crown from her predecessor Karla Bacigalupo with the presence of the reigning Miss Universe Fátima Bosch from Mexico. Kanteera "Namphueng" Techaphattanakul was proclaimed Miss World Thailand 2026 on Sunday, May 10 at MCC Hall of The Mall Lifestore Ngamwongwan in Bangkok.
