OPINION: Miss Universe 2023 best of the final night

The 72nd Miss Universe competition culminated in the magical El Salvador in the weekend and we still can't get over how spectacular the show was.

From the stage, production, contestants, guest performers, and distinguished judges, to the energy of the crowded Gimnasio Nacional Jos茅 Adolfo Pineda, everything was flawless.

The host country delivered its promise — it was undoubtedly one of the best editions of the annual Miss Universe pageant in recent years.

The Miss Philippines 2026 titleholders officially crowned

The coronation ball for The Miss Philippines 2026 took place on Sunday, May 10, at the Grand Ballroom in City of Dreams Manila. Hosted by former titleholder and Miss Supranational runner-up Pauline Amelinckx, the glittering event was graced by reigning international queens Miss Cosmo 2025 Yolina Lindquist and Miss Charm 2025 Anna Blanco. Nadia Mejia-Webb crowned Miss Universe Ecuador 2025

Nadia Mejia-Webb, representing Comunidad USA, was crowned Miss Universe Ecuador 2025 in a national competition held on Saturday, July 26 at Palacio de Cristal in Guayaquil. The 29-year-old model and singer will now prepare to represent Ecuador at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November. Daphne Currat of Tungurahua and Christie Termidor of Regi贸n Sierra were named the first and second runners-up, respectively. Bea Millan-Windorski of La Union was crowned Miss Universe Philippines 2026 during the final of the national pageant on Saturday, May 2 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City. The 24-year-old Filipino-American beauty succeeded Maria Ahtisa Manalo from Quezon Province. Danielle Latimer beat over 30 other contestants to win Miss Universe Great Britain 2025 on Saturday, July 26 at Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in Cardiff, Wales. The 36-year-old entrepreneur, stylist and photographer will represent Great Britain at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November. Patthama Jitsawat, representing the Thai province of Chonburi, was crowned Miss Grand Thailand 2026 on Saturday, March 28 at MGI Hall in Bangkok. The 32-year-old beauty edged out 76 other contestants to win the national competition. She succeeds last year's winner Sarunrat Puagpipat of Phuket. Vietnam to host the 73rd Miss World competition this summer

Vietnam, the land of the "Ascending Dragon", has been revealed as the official host country of the 73rd Miss World (Miss World 2026) competition.
