Miss Universe Colombia 2024 is Daniela Toloza from Valle


Daniela Toloza Rocha was crowned Miss Universe Colombia 2024 on Sunday, June 2 at Centro de convenciones Puerta de Oro in Barranquilla.

The 30-year-old, representing the department of Valle del Cauca, beat 29 other contestants to win the national title. She succeeds Camila Avella, last year's winner and Miss Universe 2023 Top 5 finalist.

Huila's María Alejandra Salazar placed second and was named "virreina" while the contestants from Barranquilla, Kimberly Hooker, and Risaralda, Leidy Yuliana Gómez were the first and second runners-up, respectively.

Mariana Zuleta of Antioquia, Leicy Rivas of Chocó, María Clara Cañavera of Córdoba and Yoselin Riascos of Tumaco were the Top 8 finalist.

Rounding out the Top 16 were Bolívar, Kelly Reales, Buenaventura, Luisa María López, Cali, Manuela Castaño, Cartagena, Kaina Andrea, Casanare, Estefani Ariza, Cesar, Natalia Santiago, Medellín, Valentina Pérez Burgos, and Nariño, Angela Chamorro.

The new Miss Universe Colombia will represent her country at the Miss Universe 2024 pageant in Mexico later this year.

"This reign is for all. We are going to represent Colombia in Miss Universe with all the responsibility, pride and love," Daniela shared after winning her national crown.

Reigning Miss Universe from Nicaragua Sheynnis Palacios graced the event as special guest while former Miss Universe from Venezuela Bárbara Palacios was one of the judges.

Miss Anambra, Basil Onyinyechi, was crowned Miss Universe Nigeria 2025 on Saturday, August 30 at Balmoral Convention Center in Victoria Island, Lagos. She bested 21 other contestants to win her national title and will now prepare to represent Nigeria at the Miss Universe 2025 pageant in Thailand this November. The Miss Nepal 2025 pageant was held on Saturday, August 30 at the  Godavari Sunrise Convention Center in Lalitpur. Choi Soon-hwa recently created a buzz in the pageant community when she appeared as the oldest contestant vying for Miss Universe Korea 2024. The spectacular Miss Universe 2024 preliminary competition and national costume show was held last night at the Arena CDMX in Mexico City. Hosted by reigning Miss Universe Sheynnis Palacios and Miss Universe 2022 R'Bonney Gabriel, the important event kicked off with the contestants parading in their colorful and stunning national costumes.
