Miss Universe Colombia 2024 is Daniela Toloza from Valle


Daniela Toloza Rocha was crowned Miss Universe Colombia 2024 on Sunday, June 2 at Centro de convenciones Puerta de Oro in Barranquilla.

The 30-year-old, representing the department of Valle del Cauca, beat 29 other contestants to win the national title. She succeeds Camila Avella, last year's winner and Miss Universe 2023 Top 5 finalist.

Huila's María Alejandra Salazar placed second and was named "virreina" while the contestants from Barranquilla, Kimberly Hooker, and Risaralda, Leidy Yuliana Gómez were the first and second runners-up, respectively.

Mariana Zuleta of Antioquia, Leicy Rivas of Chocó, María Clara Cañavera of Córdoba and Yoselin Riascos of Tumaco were the Top 8 finalist.

Rounding out the Top 16 were Bolívar, Kelly Reales, Buenaventura, Luisa María López, Cali, Manuela Castaño, Cartagena, Kaina Andrea, Casanare, Estefani Ariza, Cesar, Natalia Santiago, Medellín, Valentina Pérez Burgos, and Nariño, Angela Chamorro.

The new Miss Universe Colombia will represent her country at the Miss Universe 2024 pageant in Mexico later this year.

"This reign is for all. We are going to represent Colombia in Miss Universe with all the responsibility, pride and love," Daniela shared after winning her national crown.

Reigning Miss Universe from Nicaragua Sheynnis Palacios graced the event as special guest while former Miss Universe from Venezuela Bárbara Palacios was one of the judges.

Singer-songwriter Sigga Ózk crowned Miss Iceland 2026

Sigríður Ósk Hrafnkelsdóttir, also known as Sigga Ózk, was crowned Ungfrú Ísland 2026 (Miss Iceland 2026) on Wednesday, April 22 at at Gamla Bíó in Reykjavík. The singer-songwriter from Garðabær will now prepare to represent Iceland at the Miss Universe 2026 pageant to be held in Puerto Rico this November. Aníta Mist Davíðsdóttir was named first runner-up while Elínborg Hrannarsdóttir, Nadía Líf Pálsdóttir, Soffía Ellín Stella Gísladóttir were the second, third and fourth runners-up, respectively. Former Miss Earth Paraguay Gretha Matiauda has recently been appointed as her country's official representative in the Miss Universe 2026 pageant. The 24-year-old beauty from Asunción is an economist, international model and entrepreneur. She succeeds last year's titleholder Yanina Gómez who made the Top 30 at Miss Universe 2025. Patthama Jitsawat, representing the Thai province of Chonburi, was crowned Miss Grand Thailand 2026 on Saturday, March 28 at MGI Hall in Bangkok. The 32-year-old beauty edged out 76 other contestants to win the national competition. She succeeds last year's winner Sarunrat Puagpipat of Phuket. Miss World America 2023 is Victoria DiSorbo of Tennessee

Victoria DiSorbo was crowned Miss World America 2023 in a national competition held on Thursday, October 5 at the Meydenbauer Center Theatre in Bellevue, Washington. The 25-year-old representing the state of Tennessee will now prepare to compete on behalf of the United States of America at Miss World 2023 in India this December. Luren Márquez was crowned Miss Peru 2026 (Miss Universe Peru) in a special ceremony held on Wednesday, April 15 at the Teatro Municipal del Callao. The spectacular Miss Universe Philippines 2026 national costume competition took place on Thursday, April 16 at the Urdaneta City Cultural and Sports Center in Pangasinan. This year's show, themed Water, was hosted by the reigning Miss Eco Philippines, Gabbi Carballo. The contestants took to the stage, displaying Filipino artistry through their colorful costumes.
