Miss Asia Pacific returns after 5 years, final date announced


The Miss Asia Pacific International pageant is set to return after a 5-year hiatus according to the latest announcement of the organization.

"After five years, we're so excited to come back and share the stage with you! Be part of the moment when we celebrate our uniqueness together once again," posted on its official social media page.

The competition was last held in 2019 with Spain's Chaiyenne Huisman winning the crown at the Newport Performing Arts Theater in Pasay City, Philippines.

This year's event, Miss Asia Pacific International 2024, is scheduled for October 7 in Manila.

Giulia Zanoni, representing La Unión, was crowned Miss Universe El Salvador 2025 on Friday, September 26 at Palacio Tecleño in Santa Tecla. The 20-year-old international relations student succeeds last year's winner Florence Gisselle Garcia and will represent El Salvador at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November. Alva Echegoyen of La Paz finished first runner-up and was crowned Miss International El Salvador 2025. She will head to Japan, also this November, for Miss International 2025. Miss Universe Portugal 2025 is Camila Vitorino

Former Miss Queen of Portugal Camila Vitorino was crowned Miss Universe Portugal 2025 last Saturday, June 14 in the beautiful and historic city of Elvas. The 26-year-old from São Sebastião, Setúbal made history as the first married woman and mother to become Miss Universe Portugal. Laura Malaquias, Diliana Fernandes, and Ivone Carneiro were announced as the first, second, and third runners-up, respectively. Last year's winner Andreia Correia passed on her crown to her successor at the end of the event. Miss Universe 2026 host country and venue officially announced

The Miss Universe Organization has officially confirmed that Puerto Rico will be the host country for the Miss Universe 2026 pageant. Puerto Rican politician Jenniffer González Colón also made an announcement in a conference held on Tuesday, September 23 in San Juan. The 75th Miss Universe edition will be held in November 2026 at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico José Miguel Agrelot, the largest indoor entertainment and sports arena in Puerto Rico. Reigning Miss Universe Victoria Kjær Theilvig from Denmark was present at the conference alongside former winners from Puerto Rico — Deborah Carthy-Deu (1985), Dayanara Torres (1993), Denise Quiñones (2001), and Zuleyka Rivera (2006). Miss Universe 2025, the 74th Miss Universe competition is set to take place on Friday, November 21 at the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand. Reigning Miss Universe Victoria Kjær Theilvig from Denmark will hand over her crown to her successor at the conclusion of the event. Former Miss International Queen winner Nguyen Huong Giang has been officially announced on Wednesday, September 25 as Miss Universe Vietnam 2025. The 33-year-old model, singer and actress from Hanoi made history as the first ever transgender woman to represent Vietnam at Miss Universe. Huong Giang rose to prominence when she joined the fourth season of Vietnam Idol. She also competed and won The Amazing Race Vietnam 2014 with her ex-boyfriend Criss Lai. Miss Universe Japan 2025 is Kaori Hashimoto from Tochigi Prefecture

Kaori Hashimoto was crowned Miss Universe Japan 2025 in a national competition held on Wednesday, July 16 in Shibuya. The 21-year-old business administration student from Tochigi Prefecture beat over 40 other contestants to win the national title. Saki Fujita and Reina Ishii were the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Chiemi Takayama and Naomi Monique Kamidate were the rest of the Top 5 finalists.
