Miss International Australia 2024 is Selina McCloskey


Selina McCloskey was crowned Miss International Australia 2024 in a special ceremony held on Saturday, July 13 Sir Stamford Circular Quay in Sydney.

The 23-year-old model from Eleebana, New South Wales succeeds last year's titleholder Jazel Alarca and will represent Australia at Miss International 2024 in Tokyo, Japan this November.

"Words can't explain this feeling. Being appointed to my dream job, Miss International Australia, is a surreal moment I'll never forget. To be able to represent my country with such pride is a true honour, knowing my younger self would be so proud," she wrote online.

"This title is more than just a sash and a crown, but rather an opportunity for self-development and a platform to ignite my voice," she added.

"I'm excited that my passion for women empowerment, has the capacity to be showcased on a greater platform through my campaign, 'Her Voice, Our Future.' Look forward to involving and sharing this journey with you all."

The new Miss International Australia is a graduate of business as well as innovation and entrepreneurship from the University of Newcastle.

No stranger to pageantry, Selina was third runner-up at Miss World Australia 2022 and finished the same placement at Miss Grand Australia 2023.

Aslihan Morali crowned Miss Universe Canada 2026

Aslihan Morali, from Ancaster, Ontario, was crowned Miss Universe Canada 2026 on Saturday, August 8 at the Chrysler Theatre in Windsor. The Turkish-Canadian advocate, entrepreneur, model and actor succeeds last year's winner Jaime VandenBerg and will represent Canada at the Miss Universe 2025 pageant in Puerto Rico this November. The inaugural edition of the Reina Filipinas beauty pageant was held on Friday, August 7 at the Newport Performing Arts Theater in Pasay City. Palawan's Angelica Lopez, former Miss International Philippines, was crowned Reina Filipinas Grand International 2026 and will represent the Philippines at Miss Miss Grand International 2026 pageant this October. Melissa Bottema was proclaimed the winner of Miss Netherlands 2026 (Miss Universe Netherlands) on Saturday, June 27 at Studio 21 in Hilversum. The 17th Miss Supranational beauty pageant was held on Friday, July 31 at the Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sącz, Poland. Katrina Llegado, a 28-year-old financial management graduate from the Philippines, was crowned Miss Supranational 2026 by her predecessor Eduarda Braum of Brazil. She bested over 60 other contestants to win her country's second Miss Supranational crown after Miss Supranational 2013 Mutya Datul.
