Miss World Malta 2024 is Nicole Spiteri


Nicole Spiteri was crowned Miss World Malta 2024 during the national competition held on Wednesday, July 3 in Fort St. Elmo, Valletta.

The 21-year-old beauty bested 24 other contestants to win the national title. She succeeds Martine Cutajar and is now expected to represent Malta at the 72nd Miss World.

"Words cannot express what this moment means to me. I did not always believe in myself but through hard work and perseverance I am here today," said the new Miss World Malta.

Nicole entered the pageant because of Beauty With A Purpose. She had previously volunteered at domestic violence shelters, worked with children and individuals with special needs, and gained insight into the challenges her community encounters.

"Through working in a homeless shelter, I was able to see first hand the problems that people in our society face everyday and it made me want to do more," she wrote online.

"Miss World Malta provided a platform for me to advocate on the struggles of homeless people in our society, and to continue to spread awareness on this issue," she added.

Miss Universe Venezuela 2024 is Stephany Abasali

Miss Venezuela 2024, the 71st Miss Venezuela pageant, was held on Thursday, December 5 at Espacio Caracas. Stephany Abasali, a 24-year-old economics student representing Anzoátegui, bested 22 other contestants to be crowned Miss Universe Venezuela 2024. Karín Aridi of Amazonas was named first runner-up while Vanessa Pérez of Distrito Capital, Sarilé González of Miranda, and Vanessa Peroza of Nueva Esparta were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Daniel Mejía from Puerto Rico was proclaimed the winner of the Mr World 2024 competition on Saturday, November 23 in Phan Thiet, Vietnam. The 28-year-old talented singer became the first Puerto Rican to win the international title. He holds a degree in health sciences and works as a mortgage loan originator. Miss Venezuela World 2024 is Valeria Cannavo

Valeria Cannavo, the representative of Dependencias Federales, was crowned Miss Venezuela World 2024 on Saturday, November 23 in Caracas. The 24-year-old fashion designer succeeds Ariagny Daboin (Miss Venezuela World 2021) and will now prepare to represent Venezuela at the Miss World 2025 competition. Alessandra Guillen of Delta Amacuro was crowned Miss Venezuela International 2024 at the same event. Puerto Rico's Daniel Mejía was declared the overall winner of the Mr World 2024 Sports Challenge following the combined results of swimming and running events. The swimming round was held on November 14, while the running round took place on Sunday in conjunction with the Strong Vietnam Marathon in Vung Tau City. Miss America 2024 will be the 96th edition of the Miss America pageant — the nation's leading provider of scholarships for young women. The 51 state representatives have already been crowned and they will compete for the national title on January 14 at the Walt Disney Theater (Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts) in Orlando, Florida. Apart from raising the age limits to between 18 and 28, the 2024 competition under the new CEO Robin Ross-Fleming will also see other changes. For the first time since scrapping the swimsuit competition in 2018, there will be a segment that focuses on health and fitness.
