Miss Elite 2024 is Juvyel Anne Saluta of the Philippines


Juvyel Anne Saluta of the Philippines was crowned Miss Elite 2024 in a glittering event held on Friday, September 13 in Soma Bay, a coastal resort on the Red Sea in Egypt.

The 20-year-old model beat over 30 other competitors to win the international title for the first time in the history of her country. She also bagged the Best Smile award.

Victoria Maneiro of Venezuela was named first runner-up while Irene Grande of Spain, Sofia Gonzales of Mexico, and Stevanie Tawana Sheldrick of Indonesia were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively.

"First and foremost, I want to say a huge thank you to Lord God for His guidance. I actually asked God for a sign—a butterfly. Little did I know, I would be wearing a butterfly gown! I felt His presence with me every step of the way," the new Miss Elite shared online.

Juvyel succeeds last year's winner Mejreme Hajdaraj from Kosovo.

A total of 23 stunning women are currently vying for the highly coveted title and crown of Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2025. The preliminary competition took place on Sunday, August 10 at Teatro Tapia. After showcasing their swuimsuit and evening gown performances, contestants from Dorado, Vieques, Ponce, Carolina, Jayuya, and Morovis bagged the special awards. Hosted by José Santana and Diane Ferrer, the much awaited final gala will be held this Thursday, August 14 at Centro de Bellas Artes de Santurce in San Juan. Zashely Alicea Rivera, representing Dorado, was crowned Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2025 on Thursday, August 14 at Centro de Bellas Artes de Santurce in San Juan. The 25-year-old psychology graduate, professional ballet dancer and model will represent Puerto Rico at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November. Ivana Carolina Irizarry, representing Puerto Rico, was crowned Universal Woman 2025 on Saturday, August 10 in Jaipur, India. The 30-year-old model, presenter and businesswoman made history as the first Puerto Rican woman to clinch the international title. She succeeds last year's winner Maria Gigante of the Philippines. Iris Miguélez of Spain was named first runner-up while Ismelys Velásquez of Venezuela, Katty López España of Ecuador, and Roci Pankov of Brazil were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. The 28-year-old medical doctor will represent Jamaica at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November. She succeeds last year's winner Rachel Silvera. Jennifer Ventura Marte emerged as the winner of Miss Universe Dominican Republic 2025 on Sunday, August 10 at Teatro Nacional Eduardo Brito in Santo Domingo. The 27-year-old civil engineer from Barahona bested 28 other contestants to win the national title. She will represent the Dominican Republic at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November. Jearmanda Ramos of Punta Cana and Criselys Garcia of Peravia were named the first and second runners-up, respectively. Miss Denmark org releases statement after losing Miss Universe license

The Miss Denmark Organization no longer holds the license for Miss Universe Denmark while Dubai based Filipino socialite Josh Yugen recently emerged as new national director. In a statement on social media, the new license holder shared, "The House of Yugen, the global powerhouse behind some of the most groundbreaking and inclusive pageants in the world, has officially taken over the national license of Miss Universe Denmark."
