Miss World Philippines 2024 is Krishnah Marie Gravidez of Baguio City

Krishnah Marie Gravidez bested 32 other contestants to win Miss World Philippines 2024 on Friday, July 19 at SM Mall of Asia Arena in Parañaque City. The 23-year-old beauty from Baguio City was crowned by her predecessor Gwendolyne Fourniol of Negros Occidental. She will represent the Philippines at the 72nd Miss World whose date and venue have yet to be announced. Jasmine Omay of Tarlac and Sophia Bianca Santos were named Miss World Philippines 2024 first and second princesses, respectively. Completing the Top 10 were Patricia Bianca Tapia of Batangas, Jeanne Isabelle Bilasano of Bicol Region, Deanna Marie Maté of Cavite, Riana Agatha Pangindian of Kapitolyo, Pasig, Gabrielle Marie Lantzer of Manila, Nikhisa Buenafe Cheveh of Pangasinan, and Maria Andrea Endicio of Quezon Province. The final of the Miss World Philippines 2024 Head to Head Challenge took place on Monday, July 8 at the Southville International School and Colleges in Las Piñas City. Eight semifinalists showcased their speaking and presentation skills, along with their intelligence and quick thinking during the fast-track event. The challenge culminated with the announcement of the Top 3 finalists. They are Dolly Ceballos Cruz of Malaybalay, Bukidnon, Jasmine Urquico Omay of Tarlac Province, and Patricia Bianca Tapia of Batangas. Rounding out the Top 8 were Riana Pangindian of Kapitolyo, Pasig, Gabrielle Lantzer of Manila, Marianel Tan of Bacolod, Krishna Gravidez of Baguio City, and Christine Chagas of Quezon City. Miss International 2023 Andrea Rubio touched down in the Philippines on Wednesday, July 3 as an invited guest of the upcoming Binibining Pilipinas 2024 pageant. The beauty queen from Venezuela will be gracing the 60th edition's grand coronation night this Sunday, July 7 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Cubao, Quezon City. Andrea will stay at Novotel Manila Araneta City throughout her official visit to the country. She was warmly welcomed at the hotel by members of the media and some Filipina beauty queens. Reigning Miss International Andrea Rubio is expected to visit the Philippines to attend the 60th Binibining Pilipinas (Miss Philippines) pageant. This will be the second official visit of the Venezuelan beauty to Asia since she was crowned Miss International 2023 last October in Japan. Last March, she went to Jakarta, Indonesia as a special guest of the Puteri Indonesia 2024 pageant together with the reigning Miss Supranational Andrea Aguilera and Miss Charm Luma Russo. This year's Binibining Pilipinas grand coronation night will be held on July 7 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City. Cyrille Payumo, a 26-year-old fashion model from Porac, Pampanga, has been officially designated as Miss Charm Philippines 2025. Her crowning took place on May 22 in Pasay City, following the Miss Universe Philippines 2024 competition where she was one of the Top 10 finalists. Before the national pageant, she was crowned Miss Universe Philippines - Pampanga 2024 last January in Mabalacat where she earned the right to represent the Culinary Capital of the Philippines. Cyrille is no stranger to pageantry, having joined Mutya ng Pilipinas 2019 where she placed first runner-up and went on to win Miss Tourism International 2019 in Malaysia. She is now expected to represent the Philippines at the Miss Charm 2025 competition in Vietnam. Baguio City's Tarah Valencia was crowned Miss Supranational Philippines 2025 shortly after the glittering Miss Universe Philippines 2024 pageant on Wednesday in Pasay City. The 23-year-old, who placed third runner-up, will be preparing to represent the Philippines at Miss Supranational 2025 possibly next summer in Poland. Tarah is a hospitality management graduate of the University of Baguio. Prior to her stint at this year's Miss Universe Philippines, she won the titles Miss Baguio Turismo 2023 and Miss HRAB 2023. The Philippines will be represented at Miss Supranational 2024, to be held this July in Nowy Sącz, by Alethea Ambrosio from Bulacan. Alexie Mae Brooks was officially designated as Miss Eco International Philippines 2025 in a ceremony following the Miss Universe Philippines 2024 pageant on May 22 in Pasay City. The 22-year-old national athlete from Iloilo City is now expected to represent the Philippines at Miss Eco International 2025 in Egypt on a date yet to be announced. She succeeds Cebu City's Chantal Elise Schmidt, who placed first runner-up at Miss Eco International 2024 which was held last month in Cairo. Before joining this year's Miss Universe Philippines where she was one of the heavy favorites, Alexie was crowned Miss Iloilo 2024 last January. Aside from her Top 10 finish among 53 contestants, she also went home with the Best in National Costume as well as special awards from sponsors such as Face of Avon, Miss Buscopan, Miss JellLife, and Miss Zonrox. Ahtisa Manalo was crowned Miss Cosmo International Philippines 2024 in a ceremony following the Miss Universe Philippines 2024 competition on Wednesday, May 22 in Pasay City. The Miss Universe Philippines 2024 pageant culminated on Wednesday, May 22 at a top-of-mind venue for entertainment and sports events in the Philippines, the Mall of Asia Arena (MOA). Bulacan's Chelsea Manalo took home the coveted crown from a field of 53 contestants following the highly competitive rounds of swimsuit, evening gown, and interviews. Her victory marked a historic milestone in Philippine pageantry as she became the first-ever Filipina-African American woman to hold the Miss Universe Philippines title.
