Philippines' Miss World Asia Krishnah Gravidez returns home

Miss World Philippines Krishnah Gravidez has returned home following her successful stint at the 72nd Miss World last month in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. Wearing a custom white dress by La Rosa Studio PH, the 24-year-old Filipina beauty was honored in a special homecoming parade on Saturday, June 7 at the SM Mall of Asia. "Mga mahal kong kababayan, taos-puso po akong nagpapasalamat sa inyong pagmamahal at suporta. Sa isang buwang ginugol ko sa India, hindi ako napanghinaan ng loob dahil alam kong kasama ko kayo sa bawat hakbang," she wrote in Filipino online. Philippines' Christine Juliane Opiaza officially crowned the new Miss Grand International

Christine Juliane Opiaza of the Philippines was officially crowned Miss Grand International 2024 in a special ceremony on Tuesday, June 3 at MGI Hall in Bangkok, Thailand. The 26-year-old pasarela coach from Castillejos, Zambales took over the title from former winner Rachel Gupta of India whose reign prematurely concluded due to issues with her and the MGI organization. Prior to receiving the honor of becoming her country's first-ever Miss Grand International titleholder, CJ was proclaimed first runner-up during last year's pageant. Wearing a beautiful gown by Filipino designer Mak Tumang, the Filipina beauty received her crown and sash from MGI President Nawat Itsaragrisil. Philippines' Krishan Pauline Alerre crowned Miss Aura International 2025

Krishan Pauline Alerre of the Philippines was crowned Miss Aura International 2025 on Friday, May 23 at the Rixos Sungate in Antalya, Turkey. The 23-year-old physical education graduate from Pampanga became the second Filipina to win the international pageant next to Alexandra Faith Garcia. Kira Andreea Stan of Romania was named first runner-up while Karin Bacilková of the Czech Republic, Ilin Nabsuk of Thailand, and Diami Almazbekova of Kyrgyztan were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Marlene Laura Jose of Germany, Ayu Michelle of Indonesia, Karla Abdrazakova of Kazakhstan, Erleta Gashi of Kosovo, Kamilla Gattarova of Russia and Alberta Abdrakhmanova of Tatarstan completed the Top 11 finalists. Miss Universe Philippines 2025 is Maria Ahtisa Manalo of Quezon Province

Maria Ahtisa Manalo of Quezon Province was crowned Miss Universe Philippines 2025 on Friday, May 2 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City. The 27-year-old from  Candelaria bested 65 other contestants to win the national title. She will represent the Philippines at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November. No stranger to pageantry, Ahtisa is a former  Binibining Pilipinas International titleholder who went on to place first runner-up at the Miss International 2018 competition in Japan. She eventually joined Miss Universe Philippines 2024 and finished second runner-up. The national organization then awarded her the title of Miss Cosmo Philippines. In October last year, she was sent to compete in the inaugural edition of the Miss Cosmo pageant in Vietnam where she made the Top 10. Tonight, 66 of the world's most beautiful and empowered Filipinas will vie for the highly coveted title of Miss Universe Philippines 2025. The much awaited grand coronation night will take place at the SM Mall of Asia Arena (SM MOA Arena) in Pasay City from 6 p.m. local time. Live streaming is available on  Empire Philippines  official YouTube channel. Filipino actor Xian Lim and actress Gabbi Garcia will host the show with news anchor Erika Kristensen-Lee and eventologist Tim Yap. Alexie Caimoso Brooks from the Philippines was crowned Miss Eco International 2025 on Saturday, April 19 at the Hilton Alexandria Green Plaza in Egypt. The 24-year-old athlete and model from the province of Iloilo became the third Filipina to win the international pageant next to Cynthia Thomalla (2018) and Kathleen Paton (2022). Yulinar Fitrani of Indonesia was named first runner-up while Yelyzaveta Adamska of Ukraine, Cynthia Murillo of the USA, and Victoria Repollo Inglis of the United Kingdom finished second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. The new Miss Eco International bested over 30 other contestants to succeed last year's winner Angelina Usanova from Ukraine. She also bagged the Best in National Costume award. Jasmine Omay has been appointed as Universal Woman Philippines 2025 and was officially crowned in a special ceremony held on Tuesday, March 25 in Quezon City. The 27-year-old events host, model and pilot from Tarlac will represent the Philippines at the Universal Woman 2025 pageant in Jaipur, India this June. Her predecessor  Maria Gigante from Cebu became the first Filipina to win the title of Universal Woman last year in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. "From the Pearl of the Orient Sea, I will be flying high to the Universal stage. It is my pride to embody the grace, strength, and power of a Universal Woman," shared the new Universal Woman Philippines online. Miss Universe Philippines 2025, the 6th edition of the annual Miss Universe Philippines pageant will be held this May at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City. Sixty-nine contestants representing various municipalities, cities, and provinces of the Philippines will compete for a chance to represent the country at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November. The contestants were officially revealed in an official press presentation held at the Shangri-La Hotel in Makati City last month. This year's competition will be the first edition under the directorship of former titleholder and Miss Universe 2013 third runner-up Ariella Arida. The fierce batch of contestants includes former Reina Hispanoamericana winner Teresita Ssen Marquez and Miss International Philippines Maria Ahtisa Manalo. Dia Maté of the Philippines was crowned Reina Hispanoamericana 2025 on Sunday, February 9 at the Salón Sirionó, Fexpocruz in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia. The 23-year-old singer-songwriter from Cavite became the second Filipina to win the international pageant next to Teresita Ssen Marquez who won in 2017. She also bagged the Best in National Costume award. Her costume "Banaag" by Ehrran Montoya was inspired by her country's baroque churches recognized in the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Sofia Férnandez of Venezuela was named Virreina while Sharon Gamara of Colombia, Carolina Barroso of Spain, Nikita Palma of Peru, Julia de Castro of Brazil, and Zuzanna Balonek of Poland were the runners-up. Former Reina Hispanoamericana titleholder Teresita Marquez is set to represent the city of Muntinlupa at the Miss Universe Philippines 2025 pageant. Popularly known as Winwyn Marquez, the Filipino actress and mother won her country's first-ever Reina Hispanoamericana winner in 2017 in Bolivia. Born in Parañaque City to actor-politician parents Joey Marquez and Alma Moreno, Winwyn first joined Binibining Pilipinas in 2015 and then Miss World Philippines in 2017 where she claimed the first Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas title. She is also a niece of former Miss International Melanie Marquez and a cousin of former Miss Universe Philippines and Miss Universe 2023 Top 10 finalist Michelle Dee.
