Bahraini-Filipino Shereen Ahmed crowned Miss Universe Bahrain 2024


Shereen Ahmed was recently crowned Miss Universe Bahrain 2024 and will compete in the Miss Universe 2024 pageant in Mexico this November.

The 29-year-old Bahraini-Filipino beauty succeeds last year's winner Lujane Yacoub. She is the fourth woman to represent Bahrain at Miss Universe.

Advaita Shetty, Ola Adel, and Jehan Alrowaie were announced as the first, second, and third runners-up, respectively.

The new Miss Universe Bahrain was born to a Bahraini father and a Filipino mother. She is a TV presenter, content creator, poet, and writer.

No stranger to pageantry, Shereen has already participated in Miss Universe Bahrain 2022 and placed second runner-up. After that, age limits prevented her from competing again until the Miss Universe Organization changed the rules.

"When I heard about the removal of the age limit and Miss Universe Bahrain auditions, everything felt aligned. It was a moment of clarity—a chance to pursue my true self," she wrote online.

"This journey has been about breaking free from limiting beliefs, stepping out of my comfort zone, and letting my inner strength shine through," she added.

"I'm honored to be able to advocate for our region, for single mothers, for those struggling with mental health and of course, to represent Bahrain and show the Universe the very essence of our people."

Miss Universe New Zealand 2025 is Abbigail Sturgin

Lao-Kiwi Abbigail Sturgin was crowned Miss Universe New Zealand 2025 on Tuesday, June 24 at the SkyCity Theatre in Auckland. The 28-year-old police officer succeeds last year's winner Victoria Velasquez Vincent and will represent New Zealand at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November. Hannah Cross was named first runner-up while Noor Randhawa, Gazelle Garcia, and Deborah Lambie were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Nathalie Yasmin Mogbelzada, representing Noord-Holland, was proclaimed the winner of Miss Universe Netherlands 2025 on Saturday, July 5 at Studio 21 in Hilversum. The 28-year-old beauty from Amsterdam was crowned by her predecessor  Faith Landman and will now prepare to represent the Netherlands at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November. The 21-year-old beauty succeeds last year's winner Halima Hoy and will now prepare to represent Belize at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November. Pastry chef and model Swann Lavigne from France was proclaimed Mister Supranational 2025 on Saturday, June 28 at the Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sącz, Poland. The 25-year-old bested 37 other contestants to win the international male pageant. He succeeds last year's winner Fezile Mkhize from South Africa. Michaela Tomanová was crowned Miss Universe Czech Republic 2025 (Miss Universe Czechia) on Wednesday, June 25 at Chateau de Frontiere in Hlohovec.
